The service was great! The waiters were incredibly nice, the food was served very quickly and it was very tasty! I tried real Swedish meatballs for the first time and they were a very decent size, and the sauce was very creamy. My brother had the salmon, which he described as “melting in the mouth” . The food was overall very pleasant, and priced accordingly.

My husband and I were looking for good meatballs while in Stockholm and we read great things about this place. It did not disappoint - wow! Meatballs were amazing, as were the sides - especially the creamy mash and the gravy. Really lovely traditional decorative restaurant too and very professional staff. Highly recommend. It’s conveniently located at a street corner near an intersection, making it easy to spot. The restaurant has two areas: one for dining and another just for drinks. I chose to dine in and enjoyed sitting outdoors, even though it was already 8 pm!

I tried the cheese & bread herring and Swedish meatballs. The portions were generous—almost too generous! Everything was tasty. I can’t claim to be a Swedish food expert, but I had a delightful evening.

The herring was my favorite: a perfect balance of salty and sour. You can enjoy it with bread, cheese, or even potato if you find the pickling a bit strong. The Swedish meatballs were decent and came with a surprising amount of mashed potatoes. I couldn’t finish everything, but it was a satisfying experience.

First meal in Stockholm and stopped by here to get the pickled herring and Swedish meatballs. Did not disappoint. Picked herring was fresh and had pickled onions to cut the minimal fishiness. Meatballs in the gravy were amazing - flavorful meaty gravy to accompany the mashed potatoes. Also came with a side of berry sauce and pickled cucumbers to cut the gravy and meatball heaviness. Restaurant ambiance is nice - dark and cozy. Would come back here next time in Stockholm!

Been to Stockholm to visit my family and they recommended this restaurant, and it was the best meal i had in a long time.
We tried most of the things on the menu, all of them being delicious, but the reindeer was my favourite. The staff was really nice and polite. I loved the cozy warm atmosphere.
I will make sure to try and visit next time im in Sweden!
