Cool atmosphere with really friendly staff. I walked in at 830pm on a Thursday and got the last table for me and my book. It’s a big open room with many chandeliers and lots of sociable noise. I really enjoyed their Ceasar salad more than I expected to - juicy chicken breast with bacon and the perfect amount of dressing.

Everything about this place made me uncomfortable. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but I did not enjoy my experience.

It began at the entrance when we stood around waiting to be seated, in a near full restaurant, and one server just said, "find your own table". It was very abrupt and after having to wait to be seated almost everywhere else other than cafes, we just assumed. As did everyone we watched come in after us.

Service was almost nonexistent, although when he was there he was nice. Now, it was full, but there were 4 servers, and 3 bartenders. We waited a while to order a drink and a quick snack, and much longer for any of it to come. We watched 2 of the 3 bartenders just stand around laughing and talking.

It wasn't worth the wait. The chips were bland and really dry. I barely ate any. The goose pate was tasteless if it hadn't been for the cranberry sauce -- and it was a huge pile but only came with 2 small pieces of bread. The cocktail was sweet and nothing special, and that's fine, but the garnish made it seem like garbage. For some reason, they garnished it with dead leaves. It was really unappetizing and gave nothing to the flavour. Not even an aroma.

And it was not cheap. So, really slow service and bad drinks and food made it a pretty unfortunate experience.

I watched 2 other tables come in, wait forever for service, and leave without ordering anything.

The old synagogue walls are interesting, but not enough to feel like it's worth it.

So if you're prepared to sit around all evening for mediocre food just because tourist guides talk about the walls, this will be a good place for you.

Jag åkte hit för en fika en regnig fredag. Stämningen var riktigt trevlig, kaffet var bra. Historien och utformningen av byggnaden bidrar verkligen till den intressanta bakgrunden när du är där.

Jag älskade verkligen det här stället, pilsnern är fräsch och lika god som nästan alla jag ätit i Tjeckien, maten var också riktigt god. Mycket prisvärt. Skulle rekommendera!

För det första är restaurangen inrymd i en av de vackraste byggnaderna i grannskapet - en gammal judisk bönesal. De har låtit det åldras graciöst - blekta fresker, gamla ljuskronor. Det är stort - det finns även ett galleri för uppe äta med utsikt. Möblerna är härligt shabby chic. Menyn är inte enorm - en bonus faktiskt. Det finns en klassisk burgare, men de har också lite mer 'Polishy' saker - jag hade gåslever paté med en smaskig kanel - färgad lingonsås. Ung, hip, mycket vänlig personal. Avslappnad atmosfär. Rekommenderas starkt - även bara för en av deras stora cocktails.

Denna restaurang ligger i Krakows judiska kvarter och är vackert gammal. Vi hade bara drinkar men maten såg underbar ut. Mycket historisk byggnad i ett härligt område i Krakow. Definitivt värt ett besök.

Trevlig cool plats för ett stopp när du går runt Kazimierz. Ligger på en gammal synagoga så den har en riktigt intressant inredning. Härligt smaksatta lemonader och teer.

Definitivt en unik plats att ha en måltid. Det har en cool känsla, inte utan kontrovers på grund av sin historia som synagoga i ett samhälle som förstördes av nazisterna. Byggnaden ägs dock av den nuvarande ortodoxa judiska församlingen i Krakow som stöder dess nuvarande användning och inkarnation. Njut!

Utsidan av denna gamla synagoga förvandlas bar / restaurang ser inte mycket ut på utsidan men, insidan är verkligen charmig och har fortfarande den ursprungliga balkongen och fresker på väggarna. Jag stannade bara här för drinkar men, öl och mojito jag hade var utmärkt. Jag tog en punkt bort eftersom servitören som jag hade var inte mycket vänlig. Jag skulle definitivt återvända.

Personalen var mycket vänlig och maten var utsökt. Naturligtvis lade atmosfären i den gamla synagogan mycket till upplevelsen!

Härlig shabby - chic glamour och bleknade "café samhället" charm i en historisk byggnad i Kazimierz. Undangömt i ett gathörn i en livlig del av staden (musikbarer längs gatan på kvällen är gratis - bara köpa drycker). Vi hade en enkel lunch och utsökt te - de blandar sina egna blandningar av fruktte - som presenterades vackert med ett leende. Älskar denna plats och rekommenderar starkt.

Mycket bullrigt. En mycket ung kundkrets. Ostbräda för delning anlände med vår soppa och var täckt av böngroddar Så att man inte kunde se vad som fanns på brädan. När vi kom till det, är min mest korrekta beskrivning några bitar och smulor av ost och lite torrt bröd. Ingen knapp, ingen chutney, inget annat. För 70 zloty var det en skam. Servitrisen var mycket bra och jag bestämde mig för att inte klaga men 2 dagar har gått och det är fortfarande på mitt sinne så jag har bestämt mig för att posta denna recension.

Härlig gammal byggnad full av gammaldags glamour. Hade en trevlig kyld frukost. Personalen var vänlig och det var mycket välkomnande. Bloody Mary och örtte är också gott. Rekommenderar definitivt. Låt dig inte skrämmas av utsidan. Det är en dold pärla.

Överlägset bästa frukost / brunch plats i Krakow! Vi hade ägg florentin och det var utsökt. Lokalen är extremt cool, mysig och historisk mitt i hjärtat av det underbara judiska kvarteret ett måste att besöka.

We enjoyed a superb dining experience at Wierzniek. We were greeted warmly by the bartender/host who took our reservation, then later showed us to our table overlooking the square. I wish I knew his name. He was very kind. We loved the warm decor. The food is unparalleled in quality, flavor, and presentation. But the best part of our evening was the attention we received from our server, Stanislaw. He was knowledgeable in wine and regional food, and kept us entertained as he brought out delicious dish after delicious dish. This was our final night in Kraków, and it was a perfect way to end our vacation.

We can highly recommend the old elegant restaurant Wierzynek. The service is on a Michelin level, and the food is also of high quality but a bit traditionel to meet the requirements for one Michelin star. We can highly recommend that you dine inside the restaurant even though the restaurant is located at the main square. We had homemade bread with garlic butter and pate. For the main course we had beef tenderloin with mushroom puree with celery, spinach, tomatoes, champigons and red wine sauce plus duck breast with parsley puree. For dessert we had the signature honey caramelized boletus mushroom ice cream and cream cake in Krakow style. Everything was excellent and there is a very good match between price and quality.

The waitress noticed (while I did not) that I have a small fruit fly in my wine and offered to change my glass and wine. Attention to detail is astounding. The food is the amazing version of what is top class Polish food. The famous desert was just a bit less than perfect as the ice cream mushroom wash a little too frozen but this is a small oversight compared with the rest of the meal.  The famous room with wallpaper painted with gold, tells a history of a famous 21 day non stop feast. Everything is fresh, served with attention. Expensive but worth it, especially if you like grandeur and eating wild game. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous time at this historic gem! The service was first rate, and the food was gourmet and delicious. We did one of the prefix multi course menus, and it was well worth it. (They call it a tasting menu, but the portions were large.) I just can’t say enough about how great it was. We will be back.
