I ordered 2 different noodles but they’re all really awful. The worst noodle I have ever had in my life. Udon tastes sour and fish was very fishy, also the noodle tastes bitter. I have ate tons of noodles from all over the world in my life and I will not recommend anyone come to this store to eat noodles. Maybe they have good dessert, but I never tried.

Service and environment was great. Sadly being a big chain store and great food presentation, the food quality (in terms of taste) was mediocre. The soup lacks the umami flavour that I was hoping to taste. The dessert presentation was amazing, but isn't anything amazing taste wise.

We visited this incredible matcha-focused restaurant in Uji on a Tuesday morning at 10 AM, and since we arrived early, we were seated right away with no wait.

We started with the matcha curry udon, which had a unique and flavorful taste—absolutely delicious. We also tried the matcha soba with fish, which was fantastic, and the cold soba was easily the best we’ve ever had!

For dessert, we indulged in the deluxe Uji matcha ice cream and matcha shaved ice. Both were out of this world—rich, creamy, and packed with intense matcha flavor.

To top it all off, for every dish we ordered, we received a 3,000 yen coupon to spend on souvenirs. The experience just kept getting better!

This visit was an easy 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Uji!

The matcha float was nice and refreshing. The rest was normal for me. You can also buy some matcha and tea snacks and souvenirs here too.

Beautiful store, and also the head shop. I feel this location had a higher turnover and larger gift shop area as it's the main store. The food was delicious and service was quick!
