A great base for exploring Tokyo!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel last week and we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms have all the modern comforts - we stayed in a Tower view room.  I loved the filtered water tap, the electric black-out blinds and the Toto toilet (which appear to be everywhere in Japan!).

The hotel breakfast was delicious with a la carte and buffet options.

What we really loved was the gym access.  The hotel itself has a small but luxurious gym within the hotel but guests also have access to a brand new luxury gym within the sky scraper where the hotel is located and this gym is incredible - state of the art yoga and meditation room, sauna, private work out spaces, top of the range equipment on the gym floor and group classes.

A big shout out to the concierge team who were incredibly helpful in making us restaurant reservations and guiding us through the process of booking as it can be really difficult when everything is in Japanese, they really helped us before and during our trip.

We chose to stay at Hotel Toranomon Hills during the last two nights of our week long Japan trip in mid February and it was a real treat!
We were blown away by the hospitality provided by the staffs at Hotel Toranomon. From the reception welcoming, house keeping and dining services, the team at the hotel have maintained true Japanese hospitality standards. 5 stars all around, and well deserved the upcoming Hyatt category upgrade.
The decor of the rooms were modern, simple and yet elegant, which was perfectly complimented by the services the hotel provides. The team were always there for us, within a respectful reach.
The personal hand written welcome note was a very nice touch and very Japanese like, which really enhanced the travel experience for foreigners like myself.
The breakfast is not to be missed, it is top notch in services and offerings even in Japanese standards. Their attention to details and hospitality is what kept travelers coming back year after year.

Fantastic stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with great views. The location was in a business district but the train station is right in the same building. You can go downstairs and take the train anywhere. The building is mixed space so there’s cafes, food, a grocery store, and pharmacy making this super convenient. The rooms were so well thought out and incredibly comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. Will return.

This hotel was excellent for our first two nights in Tokyo. The design of the hotel was very sleek and calming. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side but the 24/7 access lounge was worth it! The lounge was really nice to have especially as we were adjusting to the time change.
The staff were kind and helpful. I loved how it was connected to a a variety of shops, restaurants, and a subway station so I didn’t have to go outside to catch a train.

Hotel Toranomon Hills is a masterclass in refined luxury—a place where everything feels seamlessly curated, from the sleek design to the intuitive service. It’s the kind of hotel that doesn’t try too hard to impress, yet exceeds expectations in every way.

The aesthetic is modern and minimalist, but never sterile. There’s a warmth to the space, a thoughtful balance of textures and materials that makes it feel both sophisticated and inviting. Every detail, from the subtle lighting to the carefully chosen furnishings, reflects an attention to detail that speaks for itself.

Service here is quietly impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what you need before you have to ask. We were expecting a shipment from Kanazawa, which was delayed due to heavy snow, and the front desk took care of everything, tracking it with the shipping company and keeping us updated. It’s these small but meaningful touches that make all the difference.

We stayed in a Tokyo Tower view room, and it was stunning. The floor-to-ceiling window turned the skyline into a living artwork, shifting beautifully from day to night. The room itself was far more spacious than the Tokyo standard, designed with understated elegance and functional comfort. The bed was exceptional, and we appreciated the complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and well-curated tea and coffee selection. Everything was intentional—nothing excessive, yet nothing overlooked.

The hotel is part of the Toranomon Hills complex, sitting right above Toranomon Hills subway station, making it an ideal base for getting around Tokyo. The entrance isn’t immediately obvious, especially when exiting the subway for the first time, but once we figured it out, it was incredibly convenient:

- The guest room elevators connect directly to Level 5 of the mall, which was our preferred access point. If entering from outside on Level 5, a room key card is required, adding an extra sense of security.

- There’s also access through the main entrance on Level 1, which leads through the front desk and a popular restaurant, but we found the Level 5 route quieter and more efficient.

The Toranomon Hills area blends business district efficiency with a more refined, relaxed urban culture. The mall beneath the hotel is filled with upscale cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to grab a quick coffee or enjoy a relaxed evening without even stepping outside.

Hotel Toranomon Hills isn’t about flash—it’s about refinement, comfort, and effortless hospitality. Everything here feels well considered and gracefully executed, making for a calm, elevated experience in the heart of Tokyo. It’s now our preferred hotel in the city, and we’re already looking forward to returning.
