Nara Thai Cuisine in CentralWorld, Bangkok, is a beautiful restaurant that offers both excellent food and service. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was delightful—everything was packed with flavor. We ordered the soupy pork noodle and lemon chicken, which was super crispy and tangy, perfectly complemented with rice since we had already eaten a lot that day. The staff also kindly offered us dessert after the meal, which was a nice touch.

I loved the way they decorate their interior, and the attention to detail in their smaller branding items really left an impact on me. All in all, a wonderful dining experience!

Friendly staff, beautiful decoration and utensils but shopping mall is of course a bit busy.

The 5 star is mainly on the Grilled River prawn which is grilled nicely and presented in a way easy to eat and with good selection of sauces.  You can probably eat it cheaper elsewhere but for the convenience and enjoyment of eating so elegantly and cleanly, I am made a fan of this dish.

Chili lime chicken need to eat while hot or it gets cold easy.  The rest are fine.

Gotta say the service here is great! We did need to wait for a while for the crab omelette but we were given notice at the start, and we were given complimentary snacks too, which was honestly super good and the best thing we ate here lol

But the main dishes were a tad bit disappointing, especially the crab omelette. While the egg was fried nicely, we didn’t taste the crab at all. Feels like any other ordinary chewy meat.

The soup was spicy! But we didn’t expect it to be so thick, and the dill patties wasn’t to our liking, which was a pity.

Overall the dishes we had were a miss, the pork and vegetables tasted average so there wasn’t much we could recommend, much so when we paid quite a lot for these.

It was obviously pricey for a Thai meal, but it was worth every penny. I think I now understand why they are on the Michelin guide, and they very much deserve to be on that list.

All of the food tasted very fine, unlike street food (not to say street food doesn’t taste good, I think street food is an integral part of anyone’s visit to Thailand)! I think Nara is very good at using Tamarind in their dishes, and to me, that was what stood out the most. All of the fried dishes weren’t oily, just crispy and tasty.

Don’t forget to take a look at their special’s menu - we ordered fried river prawns (not pictured below) that really blew us away. It was amazing to taste river prawns that tasted and felt like lobsters (in terms of texture), and it’s still a mystery to me in terms of how they did that!

I definitely recommend visiting Nara and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the food as much as I do!

The food here is delicious—everything we ordered was great, and you can choose your preferred spice level!

We tried southern Thai dishes and asked the staff to tone down the spiciness, which worked perfectly. The coconut smoothie was also amazing. There’s a wide variety of dishes, and they even have Thai desserts like Khanom Krok with a sticky rice flavor. Highly recommend booking in advance as it gets busy in the evenings, mostly with tourists. The cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for a date or family outing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Definitely worth a visit for authentic Thai food!
