My new favorite hotel in Bangkok. The place is somehow both quirky and charming, it has a unique personality with lots of comfort.

I never wanted to leave the bed, it was so cozy. The room felt private, safe, and comfortable. The common space upstairs is so cute, and the garden terrace is lovely.

The jazz bar is nice and food is excellent but the price there is a bit too high. For the rooms though I think the value is excellent for what you get.

Location was pretty convenient for getting around using short Grab rides, and there's plenty you can explore on foot from here too.

Lovely service too. In fact the staff went above and beyond to help me navigate buying a laptop while I was there, including helping me translate on the phone with the store when there was a misunderstanding. Thank you!!

Cozy but Noisy

This hotel is a true gem, located in a lovely old building with charming interiors and exteriors. The unique decor, featuring skeletons of different animals, adds a slightly eerie yet cool and fascinating touch. The rooms are cozy, with dark lighting that creates a calming and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding after a long day.

On the ground floor, you'll find a fantastic coffee shop serving Turkish coffee brewed on hot sand. They've improved the experience by filtering out the coffee grounds, making it even smoother and more enjoyable. There's also a great restaurant offering high-quality European and Thai cuisine—both comfy and delicious, making it a great dining option.

The only downside is the poor soundproofing, so noise from outside can be quite loud at night time. However, if you're not too sensitive to noise, this hotel offers a wonderful and unique stay with plenty of character.

Loving this heritage, old style boutique hotel and the   LIVE.  JAZZ!   It was the jazz and wonderful sand heated coffee that brought us here but the characters, charm and quality are what makes you stay and keeps bringing you back!

That plus the surfeit of Michelin star / recommended street restaurants in the area make it one of the best places to be.

This was a good hotel. However, some aspects let it down. The room was rarely cleaned, as the cleaners would come to clean the room at a time when we were resting from the heat. There wasn’t much light in the room and the spiral staircase was so narrow and steep: getting up was fine, but going down was a nightmare. Would recommend booking a junior suite, rather than a duplex.

On the plus side, the bar was great and staff were friendly, particularly the security guard/doormen. The coffee in the room is good, when replenished and we got 4 bottles of water if the room was cleaned. Air con is good and there is plenty of wardrobe space and a safe available. Beds were comfortable too!

The closest MRT is a 15-20 minute walk away at a normal pace and not ideal in the afternoon heat, be prepared for this or take a taxi!

This hotel rocks. Amazing jazz bar with live music. Clean and the service is incredible. The cocktails and coffee there are top notch quality. No pool but such great decor and vibes. Will definitely stay again!
