Very happy with this hotel. Extremely good location, very clean and comfortable rooms. Professional staff.
For parking, just use Google Maps and enter the little street that goes to the hotel’s entrance. A member of the staff will park the car for you, and it’s 40 euros per night. When you need it, they’ll get your car rather quickly, so don’t mind leaving it in their garage. Otherwise, you’ll have a hard time finding another spot to park yourself as it’s a busy neighbourhood.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and everything was spotless.
We would have preferred firmer pillows and a hairdryer that wasn’t as finicky as ours. Apart from that, our room was perfect. Also, plenty of outlets to charge your electronics.
We used the laundry service as we are travelling through the Baltic states and it worked great.
We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with lots of different options and fresh products.
Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 2 nights in Opera Deluxe. Overall experience was good, hotel has excellent location, looks tidy, Christmas decorations were eye-catching. Sales and concierge personnel was very helpful in the process of choosing the hotel. They even managed to get tickets to otherwise sold-out event.
Hotel room is nice and big with 2 windows, a small entrance and a walk-in closet, living room area with a coach and work-desk and bed area, a big bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet.
There are couple of things that made the experience a little under perfect. First, the hotel needs some renovation. It does not look bad, but still a bit worn, (especially the wooden floors, elevators), lights were rather dim in corridors. For some reason the ventilation of corridors was done in the old way - by opening the street-facing windows. It does not put up to the comparison with newly refurbished or built 5* hotels.
Street noise is a bit too loud (windows need adjusting or replacement?), but not untenable. Gym had some machines (running belt) that made squeaking sound. Spa is nice, great design to create an illusion of not being in the basement. Saunas clean and nice with small cold water pool available. Swimming area is not big enough for real swim (about 15m long), but very nice for a relaxing float or swim.
Food selection was adequate and tasty (Benedict eggs were excellent), but not overly rich. I was very happy with the support and attentiveness of the personnel, except for the breakfast team, that managed to forget (or ignore?) my order for 2 times. I was in no hurry, so no problem with that.
Having stayed in the 5* hotels in many different countries (Europe and elsewhere), Kempinski compares as a good one, but not as the one I would revisit, unless there was renovation done, or price level adjusted.

Had the most excellent experience whilst visiting Riga for the Xmas Market.
The room and location were superb and all the staff were both friendly and most helpful.
Would also recommend the spa facilities

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and everything was great!

The staff were top-notch (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast team)!

My room was really high quality with no signs of wear. It was a big room with no touches overlooked. I received a pre-arrival questionnaire that asked for my preferences, and when I arrived, the team did a great job accommodating most of my requests. The toiletries were super-nice too (my wife wished that I took more of them home).

The breakfast was a bit pricey but super worth it! The rooftop restaurant/lounge had great drinks and desserts, and the view of the city was fantastic.

The hotel is very conveniently located.

I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Riga!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent and a very high standard. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices and the staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly.
