Very fun, ambient atmosphere with tasty & fun themed drinks! Loved the siren’s call and kraken’s elixir. Great place to get drinks, would recommend!

Fantastic cocktails. While I highly recommend "The Flying Dutchmen" upstairs, if the wait is too long, Belly of the Beast doesn't fall short. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service, as well!

The place is gorgeous, and the staff are very nice and attentive. However, the cocktails sadly seemed to just slightly miss the mark each time. There was just something missing, and I'm not sure if it was in the execution or recipes. I wanted to like the drinks, but each one just seemed watered down, and I'm not sure why.

Also, the music was completely out of place... The interiors felt so chic, swanky, decadent, dark, broody... but the music was low-quality hip hop that was too loud to talk over, even when sitting close to each other. Why? It took us totally out of the mood.

The scallops and sweet potato fries (with the mezcal aioli) were were very tasty! But I'm taking a star off the 'food' category for the disappointment of the cocktails.

In the end, we left here and returned to Law & Order instead for some of our favorite cocktails and staff in town.

I really liked the concept and the design of this place. Cocktails are really good and you can order depending on the flavor profile you prefer: fruity, fresh, spiced or strong. Wine, beer and snacks are also available. Service was top. Good atmosphere. Definitely recommended for cocktails in Amsterdam.

I don’t like cocktails, so I was happy they also serve other kinds of drinks. I liked the setting, it’s a beautiful bar. One star less because their toilets are too dark
