The location is beautiful, our room was clean and suitable and the spa was a nice experience. Breakfast was great! What we think could be developed is that the room could have had an information folder all about the place and nearby areas. The ladies at the reception were nice and said to ask them questions if any came up, but it's hard to know what to ask when you haven't been there before. For example, we didn't realise the restaurant served dinner. We thought it was just a breakfast restaurant. The other sad thing was that other guests there on the same night were loudly revving up motorbikes around the apartment where we were sleeping between 4:00-5:00am and also earlier at about midnight. We will unfortunately remember a terrible night's sleep at this hotel.

A Scandinavian spa right on the river between Sweden and Finland. Personnel comfortably speak both Swedish and Finnish ( English for those who do not speak local).
I visited the spa when it was -28C outside so some of the outdoor paths to the pools were really dangerously icy and slippery, but in such weather are really hard to keep safe. You enter at your own risk!
Indoors it was nice and cozy, saunas, different types of spa rooms to enjoy and you can buy drinks from the bar.

This spa is for adults (though there are times when kids can go too), great for a romantic getaway.  The scenery must be nice in summer and can be enjoyed through the big windows to the river.
In the winter you can watch stars from the rooftop pool, if lucky the auroras. The atmosphere was really amazing when candles lit up the inside and outside was really dark. We enjoyed a good two hours in the spa.

Very good hotel, very nice breakfast. Though little bit disappointed that sauna was 400 per person.

The spa/sauna is really nice, would recommend to just go for that.
The rooms are basic.
The personnel is okay.
The breakfast is lovely (:

Honestly underwhelming. Sauna space is quite small especially compared to the pictures online. There is a big swimming pool, but it's filled with freezing water, rendering it useless in the cold weather. There is also only one jacuzzi inside, the one outside and on the rooftop don't have water hot enough nor bubbles to make it pleasant to stay there in the cold weather. Also snow and ice was not removed from the decks leading to them, which makes it quite slippery.

Before coming to hotel I also wasn't aware that the hotel rooms are not connected with spa. Which would be okay if you didn't have to walk few hundred meters from the room and back in just bathrobe in freezing weather. I'm sure in the summer it's okay, but in March with weather being around -5 it was quite inconvenient.
Generally I think there are better spa hotels in this area that are cheaper and better, so this has disappointed me in comparison.
