Great hotel, let down by one big issue. Service was great, the hotel is modern and beautiful, breakfast was great and not overly-busy and the rooms were exceptionally clean. However, the walls seem to be made of paper - you can hear every single noise from the rooms next to you. We couldn’t watch TV while the rooms next to us was also watching, as we could mostly hear their TV. This also meant that it was difficult to sleep, particularly when our neighbours came back at 2am and decided to party for 2 hours. Of course, not the hotel’s fault, but the construction really does not help. Sad, as I would love to stay here again but it was very difficult to sleep…

Probably one of the best scandic hotels that we've been to. My family enjoyed their stay here. Parking garage is available on the hotel's basement which is really convenient. Everything is walking distance especially the city center.

We had a great long weekend in Göteborg staying here from England, its about a 5-10 minute walk from the main station and bus terminal. We dropped our bags off as we arrived mid morning in a designated room whilst rooms getting ready no problem, Breakfast was included and was really good, plenty of food, weekends was busy but that's to be expected. Staff really friendly when checking in the lady on reception asked if we had been to gothenburg before in which we have not so she went out her way to find us a room with a view which even with the roadworks going on in the city was really welcome and we really can't thank her enough for! We have stayed at a Scandic now both in Göteborg and Stockholm and have never been disappointed with our experience. Thanks to everyone in the team.

The location of Scandic Hotel in Gothenburg is great. The rooms are spacious and clean; we stayed on the 8th floor, which had a nice view. However, late at night, the noise from the neighboring room could be heard in ours. There was no minibar in the room. The hotel breakfast was good, but the parking was really expensive compared to other places.

Hotel was OK, great breakfast.  Standard room was small,  no closet space, or floor space for luggage. Very disappointed.
Roof bar was really good,, very tasty cocktails
