Great venue to see bands, saw The Small Fortunes here and it was a great. Great access to the bar in the gig room and nice size for up & coming bands.

The separate bar was a really nice space as well for a drink and chat before the gig. Super friendly staff and great selection of beers, including low/no alcohol options.

Very cool vibe as you would expect in Hoxton and really easy to get to from Old Street tube station.

Definitely will look out for other gigs at this venue and will be visiting again!

I went there for a concert not the food/bar so can only comment on that side of things. I didn't buy a drink so not sure of prices. However the ticket was well priced and the show was awesome. Staff were pleasant and the vibe was immaculate. Small venue, good view even right at the back. Just generally felt comfortable and happy. I'll definitely keep an eye on listings here.

Unlikely to come back-

Came for a DJ set and while the bass/ sound quality was good, the staff created a hostile environment and operate on a strict license that I felt was being unfairly enforced as certain customers with drinks outside were ignored whilst we were consistently pestered and asked if we were leaving every time we entered the smoking area, following the rules without a drink.

Overall: Colours Hoxton is a fantastic little venue for live music lovers. The intimate space creates a great atmosphere for gigs, and the sound system is top-notch.  Drinks are very affordable, especially for London.  The friendly and efficient staff make the whole experience even better.

Atmosphere: This small and intimate venue is perfect for experiencing live music up close and personal.  If you prefer large, impersonal concert halls, this might not be the place for you.  However, if you enjoy the energy of a close-knit crowd, Colours Hoxton definitely delivers.

Sound:  Be prepared for a powerful sound system!  They crank it up here, so earplugs are a good idea if you have sensitive ears. However, the sound quality is excellent, ensuring a great listening experience.

Drinks:  One of the biggest perks of Colours Hoxton is the affordability of drinks.  Compared to other London venues, and even those in the area, their prices are a steal.  Pints for £6 and long drinks for around £6.50 are a welcome sight for any concertgoer.

Service:  The staff at Colours Hoxton are fantastic.  They're friendly, efficient, and always happy to help.  From a quick and easy entry process to their positive attitude, they contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere.

Recommendation:  If you're looking for an intimate venue with a great atmosphere, fantastic sound, and affordable drinks, Colours Hoxton is a perfect choice.  Just be prepared for the loud music and bring earplugs if needed.

The place and the atmosphere is quite nice. I have been there twice for a party which has been very fun.

However, I believe the drinks in the location are being diluted. I had multiple rounds of tequila shots, on separate nights, with very little effect. That is great for the next day hangovers, but misleading as you are still paying high London prices for alcoholic drinks.
Their security also can be rude, with some funny rules around the smoking area, and the pavement (which they have no jurisdiction on).
