We enjoyed our stay and will return. Rooms were clean and food was good. Staff was excellent as well. Names to mention from the pool bar: Jeffrey, Javier, Jack, and Marcelo. These guys were the best at the bar and were very friendly and made the best drinks. Also an honorable mention for their supervisor, Rina! She was very nice and great to talk to even after closing time. Give them a raise please!

We will return to this resort. The staff was very friendly. The room was magnificent. Resort was clean throughout. Food was great in the restaurants and the buffet was better than expected. The Friday night Riu party in the adults only sister resort next door was amazing. Other family friendly entertainment was hit and miss for us. Plenty of activities available or all day relaxation on the beach or at the pool.

Second time in Aruba better than the first. excellent vacation. Beautiful water nicest people you could want to serve you. The rooms were great. The buffet food was very good had everything we wanted. Can't wait to go back!

If I could give the Rui Palace Aruba zero stars I would. Unfortunately, google does not allow that. From the moment we arrived there were issues which was extremely disappointing because we were all so excited for our trip. We had a very large group of us traveling for a wedding. First our requests for rooms to be located near each other were not honored. We were traveling with small children so being near each other is helpful. This was understandable and we were aware that was not guaranteed despite booking many months in advance. Then we all arrived at our rooms to find that they had an unbearable musty odor as well as being wet with humidity. It seems as though the odor may be due to improper ventilation as we saw mold on the walls and ceilings. We ran the AC for a bit but despite being on all night and day long the temp never seemed to drop below about 75-78°F. Our bed linens were dirty with only a single stained sheet on the bed. When we called down for a blanket we were told they would “try” to send one. A blanket was never brought so we had to ask a custodial staff member for one after two days of waiting and requesting. The provided glassware was stained with dirty fingerprints. Power outlets were sparking next to the bed when used. Chunks of paint and drywall were coming down in our rooms. The lights in the bathroom and shower were out but never fixed so we showered in the dark. None of the televisions in the rooms worked which was annoying with young children. The list of issues was long and we were honestly quite shocked. It was not as bad though we had one bad room. ALL of the rooms were bad despite paying extra for the full ocean view rooms. The next morning at breakfast a woman who identified herself as the manager of public relations came to our table with a pen and paper asking if we were having any issues. We were honest and provided a list of our concerns for cleanliness and safety. She took notes but despite seeming concerned not a single issue was resolved. The floors in the rooms and throughout the resort were also incredibly slippery (??). It was as though they cleaned the floors with pledge. We had multiple falls and watched an older staff member fall as well. When it rains outside expect it to rain in your room as well. We had water coming in from the ceiling vents and bathrooms flooding our floor. Despite all of these shocking issues not a single one was resolved or addressed. The front desk staff would tell us a maintenance person was coming but they would never actually arrive. The food was nothing to write home about. If you miss the 6pm seating at restaurants the only place you will be eating is at the buffet. Overall it was all so disappointing. The ONLY good part of resort was the location but all the beaches are public beaches so you can find that at a cleaner, safer resort. We would recommend you steer clear of this resort. It was exceptionally bad.

Riu Palace Aruba is just as it's pictured.  Enjoyed my stay, especially by the pool and beach. All of the staff showed great customer service and care. The hospitality was great in most areas. However, hoouskeeping could use a little tweaking. After checking in, when we got to our room, I noticed that the toilet seat was not cleaned properly, and there was a little mold around the base of the shower. After reporting this, we were offered a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants. We chose Japanese. Our dinner was going well until my friend found hair in her food.  Major turn off, just thankful she caught it before putting it in her mouth. Loved the service and variety of food from the main dining area.
The food at the Italian restaurant was great. I do not recommend the Lemoncello dessert tart. The next day, it took several calls to housekeeping, two visits to the front desk, and a 45-minute wait before we could get the washcloths replaced. I still can't figure out how the used ones were removed and not replaced??? Needless to say, we never had any issues or concerns for the rest of our stay.
It was great speaking to the other guests. Most of them were very friendly, from the first-time visitors to the ones who had stayed there 3-4 times.
