It’s a MOTEL, not a 4 stars hotel.

10/12:
7 PM: We checked in and had a nice dinner at the restaurant.
10 PM: We returned to our room only to find out there was NO HOT WATER. General Manager KEN BERKO and the entire restaurant staff told us “THE ENTIRE CITY IS WITHOUT ELECTRICITY AND HOT WATER.”
KEN BERKO assured us it would be fixed by the next morning.

I HAD TO ENDURE A 15-MINUTE SCREAMING COLD SHOWER JUST TO GET CLEAN.

10/13 Morning: Still no hot water, but the electricity was back. KEN BERKO then guaranteed we’d have hot water by 7:30 PM. He even said, “If it’s not fixed, I’ll get you another hotel.”

10/13 Evening: STILL NO HOT WATER. And again, KEN BERKO said, “It will be fixed tomorrow.” And we are leaving tomorrow. Lol is this a joke?

What kind of pathetic management is this? Why did KEN BERKO feel the need to LIE repeatedly? If you had no idea when the issue would be resolved, why didn’t you just let us leave?!

And guess what? My French friends who live in the area had ZERO issues with electricity or hot water while we suffered through this nightmare. What does that tell you? It means the general manager and his entire team lied and blamed the city for their own incompetence.

Is this some rundown motel in a remote corner of the world? How did this place get 4 stars? It should be renamed to MOTEL Alain Llorca at best.

We have recorded every conversation with KEN BERKO, and we demand a full refund for the absolute disaster we endured. If you refuse, we will take legal action.

As for the room conditions—don’t even get me started. It was INFESTED WITH BUGS and had ZERO SOUNDPROOFING.

Good luck running a business this way. I hope the hotel management has the sense to fire KEN BERKO for his incompetence and dishonesty.

In July we returned on 2 occasions to this beautiful place - for a celebratory luncheon with our friends (we were 3 couples), and for a 2-day stay for my wife and my anniversary. The location is absolutely stunning, the views amazing and the food & wine delicious and innovative. We had a beautiful luncheon with our friends and as usual enjoyed the ceremony of the champagne cart and the cheese cart. We knew we were in for a treat and that it comes at a price. But, when checking the 1.500€ invoice we were unpleasantly surprised to learn that 1 glas of the rose natural champagne was priced at 55€, whereas the lovely Piper Heidsieck champagne was priced at 25€. We experienced a similar situation at our anniversary lunch, where the sommelier presented 2 different rose wines - we chose a glass of each to compare, and learned when receiving the invoice that 1 glass was priced at 14€ and the other at 38€.
We are very experienced restaurant goers all over Europe, but have never experienced such a difference in pricing without being notified by the sommelier, and I have to say that it really bothered me! I don’t mind paying for the great experience of the meal and wines, but I felt cheated/misled on these 2 occasions.

What a phenomenal experience at the restaurant perfection from start to finish the staff are magnificent from the car valet onwards, we had the 5 course menu and I have no adequate words other than wow wow wow
The restaurant is sublime the vista outstanding thank you all for the most wonderful experience

A wonderful retreat, for work & rest. Stayed 3 days in a Junior Suite with a balcony overlooking the Riviera. Extremely comfortable, very spacious, all the amenities & very professional attentive service (grazie Silvia & Benoit). Michelin Chef Alain Llorca, assisted by his brother Pastry Chef Jean-Michel, runs an amazing hide-away & spoils the guests with exceptional cuisine, including the breakfast. Highlights include his famous sea bass & especially the absolutely stunning roasted pigeon with foie gras, a must-try. Great discovery wines by the glass. Thank you Jeremy, Bruno & teams!
