Excellent sandwich options. The chocolate almond cake was awesome. The only negative was the 2.5 Euro per person surcharge for the gift of sitting down to eat. He didn't tell us about that before; only on the receipt. I'd bet the locals don't have to pay that.
As for the negative reviews I read on this place, we watched him run off several groups of tourists who wanted to sit at his tables to rest, or eat & drink food from other sources. No reason to fault him for that. He isn't running a public park. It's a business.

Lovely little spot they have here. Owner is very polite and curtious. I noted a few reviews that said otherwise. However, they failed to see it from the other side. Prices are reasonable compared to many in this tiny resort,  which is extremely busy even in late September. The food was great. I had the burger and was very pleasantly surprised how good it was. I would suggest you give this place a go if if you want a snack and a drink.

My fiancé and I were in Positano for 6 days and this was one of the best restaurants we dined at. The hamburgers and fries were amazing. We ordered the homemade meatballs that were the best we have ever had. To end our meal, we had the chocolate and almond cake that was made by the owner himself. We would have ordered more food if we had bigger stomachs! The owner was the most friendliest person we spoke to while here. Highly recommend.

I was surprised to see the overall mediocre ratings of this restaurant as our family thought it was fantastic. I was excited to write a review because the owner, Nico, was so nice to us and the sandwiches were delicious.  We went for dinner and there weren’t many people there which was nice. At lunchtime it is a madhouse and perhaps that’s when some of these negative reviewers ate.

We visited today and had a lovely experience. We just took a seat without being seated  -  The man who served us was very attentive, welcoming and chatty. Everything was explained clearly and we were told we could customise our food if wanted. Our food came quickly and was delicious. Would definitely go back when in the area.
