Fantastic lunch experience. The food came out in a timely manner and delicious. Generous portions. You pay a bit more here but it’s worth every cent. As a tourist; the staff don’t speak English but nonetheless understand and get it right. The owner even let us look through the cellar which is within the catacombs. Highly recommend!

We have been here for dinner and opted for the mixed plate of pasta (you can choose 3 of the pasta dishes from the menu and try a but of each).
The service has been attentive and the food was really nice, but I was a bit sorry we were seated outside because I’ve seen the pictures of the inside area and the restaurant seems really peculiar, I think the atmosphere is definitely nicer inside.
A part from this I was also surprised to see that they only had large bottles of water, so for just the 2 of us we had to take a litre of still and a litre of sparkling water, and having ordered wine as well we didn’t even get to half of each bottle.

Our host at Fontana Candida Winery recommended this hidden gem to my husband and I. We were absolutely blown away by our experience. Excellent food, service, and a stellar atmosphere. Taverna Dello Spuntino will hold a special place in our hearts forever. Their underground cellar was incredible and we adored the owner and his staff.
Five stars all the way around.

The waiter were extremely accommodating  and made sure we were attendeed to in time the food was great, will definitely recommend you bring your loved one here.

We had a truly wonderful meal here, the owner was kind enough to show us the amazing wine cellar too. The food was excellent, spit roast pig and beef steak.
