This hotel needs a total management rethink. It lacks any atmosphere and does not provide 5 star service. I stayed there last weekend and on arrival we first had to hang around the reception before taken to our room as they wanted to charge us double the rate that had been confirmed in our reservation.

The only bar operating is only located on the terrace that starts at 5pm and finishes at 11pm. Either side of this the redundant bar by the reception is closed and there is no one to provide any food or drinks. The restaurant is a vast space of nothingness looking more like a college canteen is the same only serving food at fixed times. So it is impossible to get a drink or any food 24 hours a day. When I requested a JUICE at 11am I was told NO. I also requested a night cap at 10.50pm in the so-called lobby and I was told NO it was closed.

However, the terrace bar wonderful as it was located with amazing views it was run chaotically and were unable to take very simple requests. There was no leader and the  staff were totally unexperienced and I heard quite a few fellow guests complaining.

On the whole, the reception and door staff were very helpful. The rooms were nicely cleaned and turned down every day and night. The spa was very well run by a very charming team.

Management and owners, you have a great premises in a prime position and this hotel could be very successful , please get your act together.

Our honeymoon at the Six Senses Rome was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel truly special. The staff, without exception, from the doormen to the receptionists, baristas, restaurant staff, spa therapists, everyone was so incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces.

Our suite was nothing short of luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was a spa-like oasis, and the living room provided the perfect space to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

We can't thank the Six Senses Rome enough for making our honeymoon so magical. If you're considering booking your stay, don't hesitate. It's an experience you'll never forget.

Review for the spa!
Not a guest of the hotel, but visit Rome every year for the past 10 and have always been intrigued at the lack of Roman Baths available in modern times. There are plenty of ruins of baths, but few actual spas seem to be out there for the Roman circuit bath experience.
Six Senses has found their niche in the market and have done it well! Based on google reviews, I wasn't sure how many amenities to expect. But the setup is reallly extensive and nice! At 10 am on a Wednesday, it was super private.
They have a cold, lukewarm, and hot pool; as well as a hot "rain forest" shower, "cold breeze" shower, and 3 saunas- one dry, one steam room and one mellow temperature with aromatherapy.
On that note, EVERYTHING smells amazing in this place. The aromas themself relaxed my muscles and put me in a zen state.

To top it off, the service was impeccable- kind and attentive; super welcoming, even if I didn't look as bougie as their typical clientele.

This is exactlyyyy what Rome has been missing and I can't wait to come again!

Was her last night for happy hour on the rooftop, and it was absolutely splendid.
The location, the vibe, the view, just amazing.
The service was great, we did not make a reservation and they had a table for us under twenty minutes. And the waiter was very professional and cordial.
Will definitely be back.

While we didn't stay at the hotel, we booked services in the spa, and the hotel staff were very accommodating.

We tried the Hamam, massages, facials, and the Alchemy Bar! Everything was gorgeous, and the staff, interior, and lounge were relaxing while we waited for each of our services in the spa provided comfy long bathrobe and slippers.

Sara gave us one of the best massages we've had in a long while. The facial was amazing, and we loved the Alchemy bar experience, as we created customized body scrubs and clay face masks!

Book any service days in advance, as they're usually fully booked. Better yet, stay in the hotel so you can enjoy more of the spa services.
