Clean, orderly, room quite new
At night very loud out front. Inflexible regarding checkout (just wanted to leave the suitcase in until 3, not possible for free)

This is a very strange hotel...
I bought coffee from the coffee machine installed inside the hotel on the first floor.
I noticed that there was no sugar, so I went to the office and asked if I could get some sugar.
She said, "We don't have sugar here, buy it at the supermarket on the other side of the hotel."
I was honestly quite surprised by the answer.
I had no intention of buying a kilo of sugar for my coffee, so I poured the coffee I bought into the sink next to the coffee machine.
I wondered if not putting sugar on coffee was the new standard in Norway, so I mentioned this to my Norwegian friend, who said he had never heard of it.
There are many people who drink coffee without sugar, but it is also true that there are people who cannot drink coffee without sugar.
Maybe the management is too strict with the numbers, which is why the service is so poor.

The key inside the room cannot be locked.
I feel very uneasy while sleeping.
Maybe that's also to save on repair costs.

I don't know if it's a one-star hotel, but I'm surprised to receive such a great service.

I was presently surprised,  I will say very much so. Nice, clean and a very good bed. And the duvet was VERY nice. I give them 4 out of five pecause of the shower.  The entire bathroom floor got whet, and the shower head was loos.. But, a solid 4 out of 5 is not bad, AT ALL:)))) I will stay with them again.

Super quiet rooms and good comfy bed. I’ve never stayed in a hotel so quiet before (it was nice). The one complaint is that the shower had hair from a previous client in it, which is pretty gross. Other than that, definitely good value for the price.

The Citybox Hotel in Bergen is a perfect Hotel. We book this hotel every time we travel to Norway with groups. The rooms are clean, comfortable and everything you need when you travel to this beautiful city. Public Transportation is close by, but the center is also within walking distance. Downstairs, on the corner of the hotel, there is a nice breakfast room and at night you can have a drink in this wonderful café. Without hesitation, the best hotel option in Bergen.
