We were sitting at the island and were able to see all the preparations for each dish. The host was able to attend to our needs while hosting multiple parties. Food was great but wish I tried the beef tartare with the egg on top. Razor clams with the sauce was delicious so save your bread. Oxtail was amazing but had to stay away from the potatoes because of my dairy allergy but my wife enjoyed it.

Quite an interesting place. Can’t say the food was the best I’ve ever had but definitely was tasty, lots of taste and cooked with love :) the service was outstanding… really felt like a very high end restaurant with very reasonable prices.  Personally, seemed like desserts are not their thing :) but still worth trying and deciding for yourself. Razor clams were good. Oxtail was nice as well. Tartar seemed over salted to me but still tasty. I liked their little pie (can’t remember the name).

Checkout menu before you go because it’s not for everyone I think, however, I’m sure you’ll find something tasty on their menu. Overall, definitely worth a couple visits to try all their menu!!!

The clam of appetizer is tasty with the freshness of herbs and maybe some lemon. It’s a big portion so the price is €22.

The creamy eggs with asparagus is way too salty. Even the friend who prefers heavy seasoning found it too salty. It’s not my personal issue because comparing to other dishes, I believe they got wrong salting on this one.

The mushroom risotto is the win of today! The flavour is perfectly balanced and very special! Big portion too! Will be too much for a girl.

Their service is friendly professional but lack of warmth.

Another thing I don’t like is the chef grabs mushroom or seasoning with her bare hands while she uses the same hands to take the bottles or open the cabinet in the same time. I think more hygiene way Is to use a spoon for food when she needs her hands for other stuff.

We had a great meal, which miraculously pleased both my wife and me AND my teenage boys. There is an outside terrace, but we sat around the bar inside. There are no regular tables. The idea is that we can watch the food preparation, but it took place below the bar and was hard to see. It was nice to see him assemble the dishes.
The squid was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. I had the octopus and bean stew, which was excellent. The boys both had duck rice, which they loved and licked the plate. It had an herb or something that didn't appeal to me, but my sons loved it. The creamy eggs with asparagus were not our favorite.  My wife particularly enjoyed the cheese board and chutney, and the bread was excellent. Good value at €167 with two glasses of their own white wine.

Overall, a delicious lunch. We went without a reservation, and they were able to seat us outside.

Razor clams - best dish here, buttery & garlic with freshness from the herb oil. Get the bread by itself to soak up all the deliciousness.

Tuna salad - light & bright salad, citrus with dried tuna.

Duck rice - braised chunks of duck meat in rice, with orange zest and bits of chorizo perhaps on top. The zest can be a bit overpowering but I enjoyed it.

Octopus & bean stew - tasty with a hint of smokiness. This was slightly underwhelming for me.
