The food here is simply exquisite, we loved every single aspect of it and the chef is very generous with the portions.

It is a Michelin (2024) restaurant, with great attention to detail and a fantastic creativity in terms of food.

We do not eat meat, but we do eat fish, and there plenty of options for us to choose from.

As entree I wholeheartedly recommend the risotto with truffles. It was divine!

We’ve also ordered 2 out of the 3 fish dishes and the flavours were exploding in our mouths.

I also second the opinion of previous reviews to try the Asturias wines - we were pleasantly surprised with a dry, white wine that well accompanied our fish.

The service is impeccable. You feel like a star - and I would like to give a special shoutout to Jorge who made our evening very special!

Lastly, we came here during one of our honeymoon stops and during this meal we were celebrating 1 week of being married - the chef sent us a special surprise dessert which was well appreciated.

It is definitely the place to stop and savour these meals with a lovely view in Covadonga. Our greatest appreciation to the chef and the staff, thank you!

This restaurant boasts the best location in town—no matter where you sit, you’re treated to a stunning view of the church. The interior is just as impressive, with elegant marble tables and tasteful decorations that create a sophisticated atmosphere. The service is top-notch: attentive, professional, and eager to please.

However, the food is a bit of a mixed bag. While the presentation is beautiful and the ingredients are high-quality, the flavors don’t quite hit the mark. It’s a place that dazzles with its ambiance and service but falls short when it comes to taste.

We went to this place without knowing what to expect - but it is a true gem!
The food is spectacular, rooted in local ingredients, prepared with great skill and a lot of thoughts for the dishes.
The staff was extremely friendly.
The degustation menu with wine pairing was extremely good and well paired.
If I had to change a single thing - I would change the background music to something more unique, maybe with some Asturian note to fit with the menu.
I definitely recommend and would love to come back again! :)

We had the wonderful opportunity to have dinner here last night, and are so glad we did! Everything from start to finish was excellent -- the warm and welcoming service, the food, the Asturian wines (yes, Asturias makes wine!), and of course the stunning views of the basilica. In addition to the very high quality of the ingredients of the dishes, the interior design renovation is just stunning. I love the way they have modernized the space while still retaining some lovely details of the older establishment. We can't wait to go back with friends. Highly recommend.

To quote my daughter,  "felt like a princess" nothing was too much trouble for the staff including our lack of Spanish.  Food was stunning from the never ending apperetifs to the Petit Fois at the end. Fresh bread with sea weed butter was gorgeous....the tasting menu with the wine pairing was definitely the way to go. Stunning location with great views. If you can you must .
Only marginal issue is the the background music...inoffensive but dull lift music.
