So we were lucky to get a reservation in under 24 hrs to this highly sought after new Thai restaurant.  I have to admit it was a worthwhile experience as most of the dishes we tried were simply fantastic and brought me back to my endless trips to Thailand.  The flavours are bold and brought back many street food experiences.  The only dish that was rather disappointing was the Pad Cha.  It was rather bland more on the boring side for a seafood dish.  I love their Hed Tod and Yum Neur Yang for appetizers.  The crispy Papaya salad wasn't to everyone's liking, I think it's a unique take on the dish, but yes it doesn't have the papaya flavor if that's what you are looking for.  I can recommend the short rips , their fried rice, their Pas See Ew , Duck curry...
Each dish is unique and hits a wide range of one's taste buds.
I d go back for sure but I certainly make sure a reservation is in place.  As we left we talked to some folks who were on the drop in wait-list and sat around for two hours to get a table.  Now I think the place is good but no it's not worth a two hour wait

🇹🇭 🍜 🥣  Busy Thai spot with lots of different dishes than the standard Thai restaurant. It’s perfect for sharing. The duck curry and fried papaya salad were amazing. The Thai iced tea was tasty but not too sweet. Good service! It does get quite busy and loud in here.

Food is great, there are some unique dishes here, especially the steam eggs in Tom Yum sauce. Fried rice w beef is also very good, and the sour soup with chicken. The vibe is great, a bit hard to get in still, but you can put your name in the Yelp waitlist. Very happy for this addition in West Portal. The kaya toast dessert is so good, but def for sharing!

Came here on recommendations of a friend. Overall, was a memorable experience. However, the food was a little underwhelming.

Some highlights were the Panama duck curry and the khao pad mun nuer. Both of the meats were cooked to perfection. For dessert, definitely recommend the burnt butter Kaya toast, which is a symphony of amazing texture and flavor. However, the Khoi toi was essentially egg noodles in a pretty bland sauce. The crab rice hot pot also lacked flavor. Very carb heavy. Also, I was disappointed that none of the dishes had many vegetables, besides some green onions for garnish. Even the papaya salad was essentially fried papaya strips with sauce.

Very busy place that is definitely undergoing growing pains. Excellent meal, Would not visit again.

Prior to coming here, I wasn’t feeling super hungry and thought I’d just order a light bite. However, when I saw they had a combo poached/fried chicken & rice entrée on the menu, my appetite was awakened. Chicken & rice is a classic and one of my all-time favorites. This place did not disappoint. Each bite was so juicy and flavorful, it made me want to devour the plate. I feel like I found my go-to for whenever I’m craving chicken & rice.
