The staff wasn’t exactly unfriendly, but they didn’t feel particularly friendly either. Is this the standard level of service at an Hermès store? Spending my money here shouldn’t come with such an uncomfortable experience.

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Customer Experience

I recently had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at your store.

Upon arrival, I was required to wait outside behind a velvet rope before being allowed to enter, despite the store being empty with no other customers inside. It felt unnecessarily humiliating to queue under such circumstances.

Once inside, I was assigned a salesperson to assist me. Unfortunately, this individual seemed completely uninterested in helping. I came with the intention of purchasing both a belt and a leather bracelet. While the salesperson did show me a belt, they refused to show me any bracelets, stating that “it is enough if we start with the belt.” This lack of effort and unwillingness to assist was both frustrating and unprofessional.

After deciding to purchase the belt, I had to wait an unreasonably long time for it to be packed. During this time, I decided to take a bracelet from the shelf to look at it myself. Almost immediately, a security staff member approached me and informed me that I was not allowed to touch anything. This treatment made me feel like I was being accused of wrongdoing and was incredibly demeaning.

I have always respected the Hermès brand for its heritage and craftsmanship. However, this kind of service leaves me feeling deeply disappointed and disillusioned. Being treated as if I were unwelcome or unworthy of basic courtesy is not what I expect from a luxury brand.

This experience has unfortunately tarnished my perception of Hermès. What once was a brand I admired now evokes unpleasant feelings, and I find it hard to forget this incident. I hope that steps will be taken to ensure that other customers are treated with more respect and professionalism in the future.

Was served by a staff who was unhelpful and judgemental. She was uninterested and spoke to me in a condescending tone when I asked her questions and told her my choices. One of the most unpleasant shopping experience in a boutique ever.

I’ve traveled to many countries and I have to say this was one of the worst Hermes locations I have ever visited. Terrible experience. Don’t waste your time!

I waited for a few minutes behind the “velvet rope” (what a joke) and then was allowed inside to look until an SA was available. After 15 mins I walked out after waiting my turn inside (there were maybe 2 other customers) and was scolded by some guy thinking he was in the secret service who told me I wasn’t allowed to take a picture inside the store.

We received outstanding services every single time of our visits. The best store at NK or in Stockholm.Staffs are always friendly, the walk-in waiting line are long on weekends but everyone could easily make reservations before visit. I don’t understand where all the negative reviews are coming from.
