Loved the location and atmosphere. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The rooftop area was so nice, and the music downstairs was such a great vibe!
The only thing we struggled with was the bed. It was pretty firm and not comfy, but I truly enjoyed the stay otherwise.

My friend reserved our  hotel back in May and just got an email saying they canceled the reservation. Only reason for them to do that is because they are able to make significantly more now as the Super Bowl gets closer.  Original cost was was $710 for 3 nights. I want the room that was reserved and paid for!!  So if anyone out there has booked anything prior to December, you may want to confirm that they will not cancel on you.

Had an amazing stay at The Barnett for my first time in NOLA! My room had high ceilings and a great street view. I loved the style and decor, especially the Smeg fridge. They have fire pits by the rooftop pool. All of their restaurants were amazing especially Seaworthy! Absolutely loved our dinner there. Every dish was spectacular.

Nice hotel in a great location to everything in town, which is a very walkable city.  Our room was very large and comfortable (we like a firm bed).  One unfortunate event there was that we opened a bottle of wine in the mini fridge that had gone bad, so we asked them not to charge us for it.  It was listed as costing $40.  They agreed, but I double checked our bill on the way out and it had a $92 mini bar charge on it.  The night manager was kind enough to remove it from our bill when we checked out, but it still bothers me a bit that it was even there.  Ergo - my 4* rating.  Nice bar downstairs and we enjoyed coffee from the adjacent shop in the lobby each day.

Hotel has so much promise but staff was a big let down. If you are a Hyatt globalist stay elsewhere as this hotel plays games with upgrades and will lie to you about room availability. Every room we had had issues from malfunctioning locks, noisy windows and all missing guitars and the record players don’t work. Showers leak a lot. Private patio room aren’t very private with just glass dividers. Afternoon and evening front desk staff were actively hostile to guests, morning staff was wonderful.  Breakfast was good but lots of items were always unavailable.

Overall a very poor hotel for the price. Management doesn’t care about feedback at all..
