Always a wonderful date night out on the town. The quaint size of the theatre makes you as the audience feel like you are almost part of the show and intimately involved. I cannot recommend their productions enough!

Theatre on the Bay offers a delightful theatre experience with its beautiful view of Camps Bay, flexible dress code and inviting atmosphere. Be sure to arrive early enough to secure a good parking as outside parking near the theatre is limited. The foyer's bar area serves up cocktails, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and sweet treats, all of which can be enjoyed inside the theatre. Upstairs, a small bistro offers a tasty dining option.

Despite its quaint setup, the theatre itself and bathrooms are clean and staff are friendly and attentive. A few extra seats in the foyer would be appreciated as we arrived almost an hour before the show and could not find a chair to sit on, but the quick service and comfortable seating inside make up for it. We saw "Amadeus" and were thoroughly impressed by the show's quality and the theatre's ambiance. We sat in row B and were very happy with our view of the stage and sound quality. Whether you’re a theatre regular or simply looking for a night out, Theatre on the Bay promises a memorable experience.

The ideal venue for a little bit of glam and for an evening out dressing up and dinner on the Cape Town restaurant beachfront strip. I like to park in the secure parking behind the shopping centre or near the Hotel. In this way the walk to the the theater is longer but after the performance the walk to a suitable restaurant and return to one's car is a breeze.

Loved and enjoyed the amazing shows I've seen here in the past. But now... The restaurant and bar prices are way too high #pricegouge and I heard they did a recent renovation yet my seat had broken springs and the arm rest was completely missing. Very disappointing and extremely less fun and comfortable than in past years. What a shame to let this icon of a theatre die a slow, sad death. Not going to continue giving them my patronage.

This one man show is very boring. Allan Committee attempts to get the crowd involved by flinging questions into the audience. If the response is not suitable, he has lost the plot. Very risky. He always comes with a flip chart_ same old, same old........ at R260 per person; not money well spent. Also you run a great risk of a R500 parking ticket if you park in the wrong spot, because formal parking is limited.
