As a seeker of plant-based food, I discovered Bonita Cafe, a hidden gem that may be open until June 2025 before relocating. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch, with the owner being incredibly kind and attentive. The vegan menu was delicious, with generous portions and plenty of gluten-free options. The homemade fruit juices were a highlight, too.

Run by a friendly Japanese and Thai couple, the owner thoughtfully advised us not to over-order, which is refreshing. Despite facing health challenges, her passion for creating amazing food shone through, making our experience even more special.

And speaking of meals, the food here is simply incredible! The club sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly layered, fresh, and full of flavor. And the Japanese curry? Absolutely divine! Rich, comforting, and bursting with that deep, hearty flavor that makes every bite an absolute joy. You can truly tell that everything is made with love and care.

We had such a nice dinner at Bonita. The owner was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
She instantly offered free water and menus in English. Many gluten-free options as well and everything was of course vegan. They had an interesting drink menu with homemade lemonades, smoothies and shakes.
The two cats were super cute as well.
We loved it and will come back when we can!

Food was okay, but the price was very high considering. Food lacked flavour and was not up to standard. Coffee was spongey and not frothy.  Very warm and friendly staff. Atmosphere was good upstairs but could really use some music playing to improve the atmosphere. This place has a lot of potential if they can improve the venue appearance, add photos to menu and step up the cooking to a professional standard. Cosy family vibes here but a work in progress.

We found this place right during the last few hours of our stay in Bangkok. We were really impressed by the atmosphere, food and lovely, family like owners. The place tells their unique story in every little detail and uses it to spread a positive, peaceful message amongst their customers.
Although, the location may seem far away from all the hot spots of BKK, we highly recommend to visit this place!
