Overall experience was good, but I expected more after reading the reviews.

The surprise menu was closer to a 4, while the chef’s course was about a 3.5. We ordered 2 chef’s courses and a surprise course, and the latter was excellent. We enjoyed the champagne suggested to us, and the wine was also wonderful.

The one thing that detracted slightly from the experience was the service—not because of the staff, who were brilliant and tried their best, but more due to the organization. There was an obvious shortage of staff during dinner. The restaurant was fully booked, and the waitstaff were extremely busy, running from table to table.

Both course menus seemed to include many creative dishes and unique food combinations. It would have been great to hear more about each dish. Unfortunately, the staff had very limited time to introduce the courses to us. As I mentioned, it was clear there were too many guests for the few waitstaff on duty

Very good restaurant serving modern Finnish fine dining.
Not the most flavorful dishes we've had in similar restaurants during the week but still excellent nonetheless. We had the 5 course seasonal menu.
The bread, as always, was to die for!

Went to Ragu on the night we stopover in Helsinki. We had the seasonal chef menu. Fun atmosphere with good food! First time with tried elk, very nice!

Perfect for two for a romantic date. We had 5 course meals with the wines suggested by them it was a SURPRISE menu. Truly excellent. The interiors were cozy and the place was very full. We walked in. They still made place for us for dinner. MUST GO!

Nice atmosphere and tasty dishes. Took 5 course surprise menu and was satisfied. Portions not very big but five courses were enough for me to be full at the end. Be prepared to spend couple hours there. I enjoyed new experience of visiting high cuisine restaurant
