There are lots of paintings and sculptures, beautiful chandeliers and ceilings. The gallery corridors are stunningly over-whelming. Like in many other museums in Rome, I just didn’t know where to lay eyes on. Absolutely worth the ticket. It opens late into the evening. Perhaps because I was there a bit too late, a few rooms were closed. It is a pity and if I go to Rome again I’d like to revisit this place!

A beautiful and majestic space with the most magnificent frescoed ceilings. Stunning! I'd highly recommend a visit.
There isn't much information offered for all the paintings though, which is a shame.

We weren't able to get tickets to the Borghese Gallery so I searched for other galleries in the area, and boy was this an astonishingly beautiful sight! There are 3 Caravaggio paintings here, but even the building itself is an absolute work of art!! I cannot recommend stopping by this gallery enough, it's absolutely gorgeous! We did buy our tickets in advance and it made the process of getting into the gallery super easy. The price was also very fair, we paid €13 or so per person!

Excellent collection and rooms greatly enhanced by the very good audio guide. Not busy which is a nice change for anything in Rome. Tip:even if you are not going to go in to the gallery, you can probably check out the courtyard and part of the palazzo. Tickets are validated on the first floor and there is a bistro on the ground floor. Observations rather than absolutes. Perhaps you need a reservation etc I'm not sure.

A place that transported us back in time. Perfectly preserved interiors that make us feel amazed until we leave the building. Rome offers many attractions and I am glad I came here because it was really worth it. The gallery also contains many works by famous artists.
