Had a fantastic stay here. The customer service at the B&B is excellence, they are so nice. The breakfast is a lovely continental spread. Great location. Would come back again next time I’m in Barcelona.

A beautiful place to stay in an excellent neighborhood. Room was beautiful and comfortable, and common spaces are very nice. Old charm, but with all the modern comforts you could want.

Extreme experience. This is the first time I have had such unexpected experience in all my years of traveling. My friends and I stayed for two nights.
1. The staffs are so friendly and understanding.
2. The location ia good.
3. The oil paint smell in the room is even worse than the newly renovated room. There was no fresh air and it was basically impossible to breathe! We reported this to the accommodation the next day, and the only solution was to put two aromatherapy diffusers in the room. On the second night, the air conditioner did not work, making the already bad air even more unbearable. There was no air circulation system in the room, the air conditioner did not work, and the only window was still under renovation, which made the smell even worse. The air in the room was a nightmare, and the soundproofing was also very poor. On the second night, we were woken up more than five times in the early morning. I don't know if our room was near the storage room. All night long, someone was opening doors, adjusting things, closing doors, and the whole house could hear the sound of water running until 8:30 in the morning.

Great location and good looking for the price.

Breakfast was basic but nice. There were some WiFi downtime, and you could hear through the walls which at one point woke me from sleep when some people were being noisy.

I really wanted to give a positive review but I wouldn't encourage anyone to stay or at least not in room 8. The staff by the way are kind people; customer service just is not great. My room was DARK...like a dungeon. There was almost no natural light. The photo attached is in the afternoon at high sun (you can see the time on my phone). When I raised this with the management I was told to turn on the light if I wanted more light, and that all rooms have good lighting.

The darkness ruined our stay and the response felt dismissive. During our 4 night stay I would like to propose that we could have received a more considerate response e.g. "...we would like to invite you to enjoy complimentary breakfast in our naturally lit breakfast room"..."...as you are staying for 4 nights, we will endeavour to find an alternative room"..."thank you for your feedback, we will attempt to make it clear that this room has very limited natural light for future gusts". I have not mentioned the construction work but it should be stated before we arrive. Nevertheless, I hope this feedback helps. Room 8 should be for storage only!
