Favourite fish and chips in London right now for takeaway and sitting in. The cod is the right point between soft and firm. Only criticism is that the mushy peas are a little bland. 5 stars because the fish is so good, taken away twice and sat in once, consistently great.

Amazing restaurant, so far the best fish and chips I had.  The batter was light and crispy.

Fish soup was amazing, it’s very mild and tasty.  Mushy Pea was nice too, I believe even someone normally don’t eat pea would like that too.

They have all kind of fish which I would like to try next time.

Only small issue is it’s difficult to find a parking nearby.

Definitely recommend this and will come again.

Been here a few times, and always leave happy - only because the food is great and the service is superb. The fish is super fresh coated in crispy light batter and does not feel greasy. Likewise the chips are light and crunchy and delightful. Service is always consistently great and friendly. Always make a booking for a table. Highly recommend the turbot too, sweet delicious fish. Overall, would come again and again.

We ordered on the phone and were told it’d be ready within 20/25 mins and they made sure it was - given how busy they are that was very good. We ordered 3 grilled and 1 fried cod, chips, mushy peas and calamari. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the calamari however the rest of the food was amazing. The tartar sauce was also very good and a huge portion. It’s a little expensive but probably one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. I’ll definitely return.

I have been a  Toffs regular for over 30 years. Food beautifully cooked, Fish & chips are never greasy, full of flavour & nutrition. Salads are fantastic too. The Tea ☕ is wonderful & flavoursome being sourced from a local supplier. Well  done Toffs for keeping the quality consistent for all these years. 👌
