Wonderful experience, everything tastes fantastic. Super friendly staff and a clean facility.
Pro tip: if you go on the weekend, make a reservation. Their dining room is the size of my master bathroom in the states, but definitely worth the effort. We lucked out and sat at the window ( no reservations needed for those 4 seats)

Excellent food at Dauns. They are a small Scandinavian inspired cafe. There aren't many tables but it's worth waiting if required.

Had the cinnamon bun with pear sugar, seitan sandwich, and a mocha.

The bun wasn't as sweet as I'm used to but I really enjoyed the taste and texture. It's filling enough on it's own and with my other options was glad it wasn't too sweet.

The sandwich was great, the sourdough was chewy and meaty and the mustard was a great, spicy addition.

The mocha was also well made, having a good balance of the bitterness of coffee and sweetness of chocolate.

Recommended for anyone looking for a plant-based/vegan option near Spitelfields.

Unbelievable Scandinavian Vegan cafe - would recommend reserving a table on the weekend.

We went for the Smörrebröd (classic open sandwiches) and got the 3 for £14 which were amazing (pictured). We had tofish, beetrood salad + Swedish meatballs, and a day special of brie and jam - all sensational. We also had the beetroot soup which we loved.

They also have a great range of fun hot drinks. It came to £13 per person for drinks, 3 sandwiches and soup so amazing value too.

Such a cute place with such lovely people working here! The food was very original and above all tasty! Maybe the best scrambled tofu I ever had! Give it a 10/10! In addition, price quality ratio was excellent.
Will come back for sure next time I’m on London! 🩷✌️

Cookies, coffee, toasties were all great! The full English was a bit of a miss. It lacked seasoning and the scrambled tofu wasn’t exactly bad but it tasted strangely sweet - like vanilla soy milk. Service was attentive but not that friendly.
