What an excellent restaurant for a special occasion dinner.  All our dishes were prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Onion soup was our favorite. Service was professional and unobtrusive,  Will definitely return.

Amazing night! Had the best server, the environment was cozy and warm. The service was amazing and I started with yummy French onion soup and a white wine, followed  by steak frites and a red wine then crème Brûlée for dessert. All in all amazing. I will be back. Thank you making my first time here amazing and I will be back for another dinner.

My UK friend recommended this place to me, and the food is AMAZING. The prices are reasonable, and the service staff are so genuine. Moreover, I loved the potatoes in the duck confit dish, as well as the beef tartare. The mushrooms are on another level! I strongly recommend this place!

After arriving you are welcomed into a small and cozy space that is equally moody and romantic (especially on a rainy winter evening).

Out of our three appetizers, the steak tartare was the standout for us with incredible texture and flavours. The flambé tart with ricotta was full of flavour and creaminess but so rich it would be ideal for sharing with 3 people. The French onion soup was smoky and perfectly prepared.

For the main we had the hanger cut steak medium rare with frites, perfectly cooked with peppercorn sauce. Look forward to trying to chicken and mussels next visit. The crème brûlée for dessert was perfect. Wine and spirit selection was fantastic. Honestly great value for what you get comparatively.

Amiel was a fantastic server, attentive and expertly observing our needs without being intrusive or overbearing. I will request his service when we return. Thank you to Amiel & the Les Faux Bourgeois staff!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Les Faux Bourgeois for their New Year’s Eve menu, and it was an unforgettable experience. As someone from Russia, where food and service standards are exceptionally high, I’ve missed this level of quality during my year living in the U.S. This French restaurant in Vancouver was a delightful reminder of what exceptional dining should be.

The food was absolutely exquisite. My escargot was superb, and the filet mignon was the best I’ve ever had—perfectly tender and full of flavor. The potato gratin was a masterpiece of creamy perfection. My husband enjoyed the sweetbreads with mushrooms and an incredibly tender rack of lamb. The desserts, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse, were the perfect sweet ending to our meal.

Our server, Bruno, was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured our glasses were always filled. His professionalism added to the overall charm of the evening.

The only downside was parking. It was quite challenging to find a spot, so if you have a reservation, I recommend arriving early to secure parking.
