The gallery has gone downhill and has lost its prestige. Visited last year. It is run by a single person now, Carla Garnet, without any accountability. She was extremely rude and unprofessional.

It was once a great gallery, situated on Bay Street in the MacDonald Block. I exhibited an 8 foot by 16 foot painting called The Long Crossing in 2008 in a show curated by Luciana Benzi. It's now a shadow of its former self in a tiny space run by a rude and unreasonable person who threw me out because I accidentally leaned against a poster while trying to get a better view of a photograph through the glass protecting it.

The current show by Ilene Sova is a super show managing to be thoughtful, dazzling & summer-like all at once. The Aird Gallery shows are always worth catching. Curator Carla Garnet is doing a great job

Small art gallery inside government building on corner of Bay and Wellesley. Exhibits change monthly. Good for cold winter lunch time visit. Always interesting. Wheelchair ramp. Bright space. Volunteers answer questions.

This gallery is so spacious that their exhibitions show well. Their shows reflect the diversity of the artistic community of the GTA.
