Sadly, underwhelming food. Ambiance seems great to have just drinks.

The flavor of the dishes [including the “We had the Best Time at Your Party” (not pictured as it was an ordinary looking salad on a flat white plate)] were not balanced—either too salty or too sweet. The exception is the Chicken Wing Noodle, which was good. The dessert was okay.

Portions are too little for the price. I would understand high prices for quality food—and perhaps the ingredients used were of good quality. Even with that assumption, it was not reflected in the dishes upon tasting.

The service was slow. It took about 20 between dishes, which was served one at a time. The servers were warm and would check up when able.

The low rated reviews got the general sentiment right.

I don't think we've ever had as much fun at a meal as we did at the Lake Inez Mystery Patio. It was such a creative, inventive, and welcoming experience. The team put so much effort into every detail of the evening. each dish was perfectly paired with a drink, a song, and a hilarious story. I don't want to say too much, it's better left a mystery, but GO! If you can snag a reservation.

I finally checked out lake Inez because I kept seeing it around my TikTok. I had high expectations because a lot of people said this is their favourite restaurant but I would say it was overhyped. I thought the food was okay, our favourite was the salad and steak. The salad was very different and the sauce made it so good. Steak was cooked to perfection. Their menu constantly changes, this place is more of a bar and small foods because their drinks menu was huge but small food menu. Staffs here were friendly and always starts up a conversation with the guests, very chill vibes.

A close friend was visiting from out of town and had always wanted to try Lake Inez. The food was SO good, the atmosphere is close, cozy and intimate; perfect for catching up with friends or a date night. The music isn’t loud so you can actually talk and hear each other lol which I love for a dinner setting. We ordered a few items off the menu all of them were great. Our favourite was the pork and beans, probably because we didn’t expect it to be as good as it was.. savoury and salty; reminded me of a home cooked meal. Our server was friendly and gave us great suggestions. I didn’t drink, but my friends said their cocktails were boozy and tasty.

Dined here in summer '24 and found it pretty underwhelming since I've heard nothing but good stuff before coming.

Positives: Good atmosphere going thanks to the energy of the head chef. You dine at a beautiful rooftop patio. The menu includes a wine pairing (non-alcoholic available upon request).

Negatives: I appreciate the celebration of local produce (particularly vegetables), but I was yearning for more meat on the plate. The food tastes same-y after awhile. Also, I felt like I got some attitude from the head chef for not requesting the non-alcoholic pairing earlier when I did not know about it due to a broken image in the SMS (he apologized later). If you're celebrating a special occasion, don't expect anything special.

Local vegetables are clearly the star here, so if that's your thing, this place might be your cup of tea. For me it was just okay and I would have preferred more variety.
