We did the kitchen table experience and it was just fabulous. Every cocktail was superb and the bite size food paired with them was delicious.  It was very much about presentation and the experience; but, all the cocktails tasted so good.

Wow what a wonderful experience!  Visited The Aviary and Office yesterday evening.  I had a super fantastic time there.  My friend and I did the combo Office and Aviary experience and it was truly a great "Birth of Cool" vibe.  The cocktails were amazing paired with delightful tasty bites.  My favorite tasty bite was the truffle explosion.  That's I must try when you visit.  Very boozy, fun, chic yet chill experience.  The experience should be done with a group or couple this is something you want to share with others.  My only small criticism is the food to booze ratio seemed off scale.  More booze than food (but I didn't mind that, lol 😁). So if you're going, have a substantial lunch before this evening venture.  Again, loved it and looking forward to doing this again with my friend group!

It's taken me a while to write the review because I haven't been totally sure what rating to give. I really enjoyed my experience, but at the end of the day, I just don't see myself going back. The experience was really unique but there was just something "cold" about the whole thing. Maybe it simply failed to live up to my expectations. The biggest sticking point that is that I felt rushed through the entire experience. I completely understand that the restaurant needs to move through the courses but I felt like it was too robotic; there wasn't much emotion to the experience.  Bottom line, glad we visited The Aviary but I would have liked to have had the incredible cocktails in a setting with a completely different vibe. Side note...the black truffle explosion add-on was incredible!

Went here with some people from work. We heard it was really cool and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were very good and it was a unique concept. The food was okay and pricey but the portions were decent. The grilled cheese was excellent! Overall I'm glad I was able to go and I would definitely go back again. If you like flashy cocktails then this is the place for you!

This was my second visit here. To begin with, the staff is knowledgeable and great at their jobs. Also, sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes to get a drink. Next, the drinks have a nice presentation and unique taste to each one. Furthermore, the food is a little expensive. Lastly, the atmosphere is dark and upscale. I liked it but I know some don't. Overall, I would visit for the cocktail experience.

Jag och min fru split cocktail avsmakningsmenyn och det var definitivt ett måste - göra erfarenhet. Drinkarna är kreativa, komplexa och exotiska. När det gäller smak 2 av de 3 var stor! Den andra var ok! Servicen var också bra. IT är dyrt men dessa är speciellt handgjorda cocktails! Jag rekommenderar dock att prova upplevelsen. 

Den enda drinken där man knäpper ett band och bryter sin egen is var kanske inte så avsedd som jag stänkte alkohol på kvinnan som satt bredvid mig. Tur att hon var cool men jag förstår hur det kan gå fel!

Vi åt nyligen på The Aviary, och det var ett riktigt äventyr! Inbäddat i en elegant miljö, är atmosfären både livlig och intim, perfekt för par. Cocktailarna var en höjdpunkt — var och en ett konstverk! Medan maten var välsmakande kändes vissa rätter lite överhypade. Vi har haft vår kväll, men vi hoppades på lite mer från menyn. Sammantaget är det ett roligt ställe att besöka, särskilt om du letar efter något annorlunda. Värt att kolla in!

Paul Sauter är fantastisk! I Kitchen Experience, från första tuggan till sista upphällningen, var vår kväll på The Aviary inget annat än magisk — men det var din generositet och värme som verkligen gjorde Jades 64-årsdag oförglömlig. Köksturen, den hemliga världen på The Office, och de utsökta efter - middagsdrinkar kändes som ett VIP-äventyr vävt av förundran. Den 3 cocktail progression är alltid ett utmärkt val. Vi hade en sen kväll reservation efter middagen på Next. Ett bra sätt att avsluta kvällen. Rökiga söta och kryddiga cocktails. Vi njöt av att dela 6 olika. Och glöm inte att inkludera den fantastiska tryffelexplosionen.

Det bästa voljären hade att erbjuda: en varmkorv och en kycklingpinne. Klibbiga söta drinkar. Mest äckligt. På 175 dollar per person, förväntar jag mig några komplexa och raffinerade smaker, inte en majskorv och en drink gjord av majssprit. Förrätten är tapiokatunnbröd täckt med ost. Serveras utan tallrik eller redskap. Om du inte har en utmärkt kemtvätt, bättre att hoppa över. En server för ett bord med 8 . Måste begära ett glas is med vatten, som du kanske eller kanske inte får. Mycket arbete läggs på dyra glas, vilket gör att en dryck ser spännande och sofistikerad ut. Men det subtila i en välgjord dryck går förlorad i processen. Och om du försöker vara värd för en speciell kväll för 8 , räkna med att kanske hälften av drinkarna kommer i signaturförberedelsen, och hälften bara dyker upp i den avsedda koppen för den drinken. Skum matportioner. Ingen lyx eller hög - slut ingredienser. Det hela är överskattat, om du inte är 6 år eller aldrig lämnar huset. Jag tror att voljären är klar. Jag kommer inte tillbaka.

Vi åkte hit på vår bröllopsdag. Atmosfären var inte lyxig men trevliga varma toner. Servicen var utmärkt. Mycket uppmärksam personal. Vi hade Aviary Experience. Presentationen är rolig men de flesta drinkarna var söta och saknade balans. Vi tyckte 1 förrätt passade bra ihop. Resten var i mitten. 

Vi förväntade oss en mer sofistikerad atmosfär. Vad vi fick var rummet fullt av underklädda, jerseyklädda turister. Människor som filmar non stop innehåll och medelålders män hoppade upp på vitamin V försöker imponera på sina mycket yngre datum. 

Denna plats var definitivt en och gjort.

Vi delade på sex drinkar. Fem stjärnor för dryckerna och deras presentation - de var läckra och mycket roligt. Vi blev förvånade negativlu, dock av hur tråkiga sittplatser/inredning var. Intetsägande och harmlös, vilket är ologiskt med tanke på den totala exotiskhet som säljs.

Vi blev så besvikna. Vi köpte 5 cocktails och 5 tallrikar paket. Ingen av cocktailarna var god och maten var helt enkelt salt. Inredningen var precis som hotellobbyn. Det var så dyrt. Jag skulle inte vilja prova någon av Alinea gruppen längre.

Platsen verkar vara ett bra koncept men drycker var inte så bra. Vi gjorde trerätters och varje drink var för söt. Vi började lätt och tänkte att vi skulle avsluta med en drink som en gammaldags men det var för sött och vi var redo att bara lämna. Om drinkarna inte var så söta hade vi njutit mer. Var försiktig så att alla drycker är söta. Presentation är underbart men om du gillar riktiga drinkar är detta inte rätt plats. Vi märkte också att chefen besökte borden som hade betalat för femrättersaffären och inte vår. Vår server var stor men besviken överlag.

Vetenskapligt spännande cocktails, rolig presentation, smart runt börjar med menyformat. Matsalen ser sexig ut, men eftersom vi var ett parti av 2, hade vi ett högtoppbord precis vid buret och tittade in i labbet / köket. Vi hade 3 - cocktailflygningen och beställde tryffelbiten (värt det). Matmenyn ser bra ut, men du kanske vill äta något väsentligt i förväg, eftersom det inte erbjuder saker som kan hjälpa till att suga upp - de många typer av alkohol du kommer att njuta av (vi hade också en middagsreservation vi var glada över efter) .

I början av december åkte vi till Aviary med 3 vänner för att ha några trevliga cocktails och lite mat (eftersom det var middagstid). Vi hade cocktailsflykten, som bestod av tre cocktails som du kan välja från mittsidan på menyn. Vi ville också ha något att äta eftersom det är bättre att inte leva på sprit ensam, så vi valde matparningen, som kostar 25 USD per person (!). Våra förhoppningar var höga, men kraschade snart när vi fick veta att matparningen bestod av bara några veggie chips, tryffelpopcorn, några trevliga kroketter med manchego-dopp och en liten kopp lite quinoa-typ och du får allt med den första cocktail ( vilket innebar att allt ätdes när den andra cocktail kom, så inte riktigt ihopkoppling ...). Inte värt dina 25 dollar. Med så mycket alkohol vill jag ha något mer omfattande (som inte fanns på menyn). Cocktails var trevliga, inte kort på alkohol och absolut inte vad du kan få i någon form av bar, riktigt speciellt. Du får en slags "rolig" cocktail från huset och mycket vatten, glittrande eller still, med cocktails. Personalen var trevlig, 3 servitörer kom riktigt snabbt efter att vi satt oss och sa att vi inte hade valt ännu, när vi äntligen gjorde våra val var vi tvungna att vänta ganska länge innan nästa kom att ta våra beställningar. Sammantaget var det en trevlig kväll, men det är bättre att äta någon annanstans i förväg eller bara ha en cocktail (eftersom de är ganska starka).

Först kommer jag att nämna min man och jag dricker vanligtvis vin eller skotsk, men jag bokade efter att ha sett den vackra webbplatsen. Jag trodde att vi skulle sitta i en bar och vi skulle få serverad dryckkotor som bröt ut med lågor eller torr is. Istället leddes vi till ett trångt rum som var ljust som dag och serverade drycker av uttråkad servitörspersonal som i slutändan, alla smakade samma sak till oss, en gång rördes om. Alla var massproducerade utan den kärleksfulla individuella beröringen. Och det fanns några riktigt konstiga eftersmak. Min fru och jag åkte till Aviary för fem-rätters smakmeny. Vi har visserligen STORA förväntningar efter att ha varit två andra Alinea Group-restauranger men vi blev verkligen besvikna över hur upplevelsen gick. Vi satt sent och väntade sedan ytterligare 20 minuter på vår första drink. Denna timing gav inget meningsfullt eftersom vi gjorde provsmakningsmenyn och inte skulle behöva beställa någonting. Dryckerna var bra men för kostnaden för hela kvällen skulle jag inte rekommendera det alls.

Det här är andra gången jag har varit här. Första gången var för ett år sedan och det var fantastiskt. Den här gången hemsk. Först avbröts vår reservation som vi gjorde för månader sedan i sista minuten och vi fick en 10; 45-timmarsplats. Men vi var som det är ok, eftersom denna plats är så bra. Vi hade fel. Den här gången fanns det ingen synkroniserad presentation av drycker alls. All vår mat kom på samma gång, den gavs inte i kurser som förra gången. Bokstavligen var det en skål med popcorn som kunde ha varit pojkespetspopcorn. Sedan hade vi massor av smutsiga glasögon och mat på bordet samtidigt. Några av dryckerna var bara vanliga drycker som du kunde ha fått var som helst. några var coola, men ingenting wow som förra gången. Mycket nedslående för en mycket dyr bar.

Atmosfären här är mycket pretentiös. Många restauranger är numera catering till den avslappnade publiken och har en välkomnande känsla, det här kunde inte vara motsatsen. Det finns kanske 6-7 soffor i hela baren och ca 3 små grupper i varje soffa. Drycker är $ 25 - $ 30 +, vilket är galet! Och du måste göra reservationer. Jag vet att det handlar om "erfarenheten", men uppriktigt sagt ingenting som fantastiskt. Om jag bodde i Chicago skulle det vara mitt enda besök. . . De försöker hårt på presentationen, men om jag kom dit för att få en buzz, skulle jag behöva spendera 150 dollar, bara absurt att betala så mycket och få en drink att serveras i en pappers lunchpås (yup, det är en av deras dryck presentationer ...)
