This spot in Midtown is a real treat for all those Indian food lovers out there! One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long while. Super authentic, homemade traditional dishes that will have me back for more.

We particularly enjoyed the Tandoori Mushrooms, which were flavorful and well-prepared, with a nice char that complemented the dish. The Naans were  soft and crispy, and not too thick, which made them a great accompaniment to the meal.

However, we felt that the dishes leaned toward the sweeter side, seemingly catering to the local population. This sweetness detracted from the authenticity of the flavors that we were hoping to find.
Overall, Pippali was an okay experience. There were some high points, but the overly sweet flavor profile of many dishes left us wishing for a more balanced and traditional taste.

Threw my husbands birthday dinner here for 22 people and Dinesh was so great to work with. Was easily able to manage a big table for us and very easy to communicate with. The food was incredible and the service was great even though we were a big group. Highly recommend this for any large groups!

Pippali NYC is known to serve amazing north indian fare . The appetisers from the tandoor are fabulous, sumptuous and full of flavour.
The mains are not far behind but delicious and great. And last but definitely not the least, the desserts are to look forward to when ending such a beautiful meal and an amazing experience.

Ordered the palak paneer and butter chicken with a side of garlic naan. The curries were less flavorful than expected, but the portion sizes were great. We loved the sweet lassi and the mango lassi. Definitely would love to try the salted lassi next time. The restaurant was clean, and the service was attentive.
