Upon arrival at Camps Bay Retreat you are met with the true beauty of this establishment, from the Manor to the breathtaking mountains and ocean views I can’t recommend this stay enough.

There is a beautiful waterfall tucked in between nature, a bridge suspended above the landscape to give you that sense of a retreat that leads to the pools and villas.

The area is very safe with the beach in walking distance and everything right here at your fingertips.  (I recommend the wine at the restaurants 😉)

All in all the perfect place to experience Cape Town/Camps Bay and escape the hussel and buzz for a nice relaxing retreat/holiday.

The most beautiful hotel and grounds. Lovely staff, wellness centre is fantastic, rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. Can’t fault it.

Nice place for a retreat, stayed here for 3 nights. Overall good experience but can better (Breakfast ends strictly at 11am, came by 11:03am and we’re late. Another day the breakfast ordered came wrongly.) Benson was very friendly and has recommended us nearby places to go and also joining the braai dinner.

I want to give a higher review but was somewhat disappointed with Camps Bay Retreat. Here are my Pros/Cons:

Cons:
-Not ADA accessible at all. No elevators or anything for guests who may have physical challenges and/or disabilities
-The bridge was incredibly dark at night where your rooms are along with the path to your rooms also very dark
-Aside from one staff member, I expected better hospitality for what you’re paying. Service was slow a majority of the time and staff seemed more annoyed to help you than make your stay great

Pros:
-Location: Great spot just minutes away from the may strip of Camps Bay and the beach
-Views: Beautiful views, particularly from the backyard
-Spa: Getting a massage in one of their nature “rooms” is an absolute must. This gets a 5 star
