This coffee shop is an absolute gem! I had heard so much about it, so I made it a must-visit on my trip to Cape Town—and it did not disappoint. The space is beautiful, filled with history, and offers a stunning mountain view. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

The food was excellent—I had a generous croissant stuffed with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, and it was just what I needed. The atmosphere was so inviting that I ended up staying longer than planned.

If you’re in Cape Town, this is a spot worth visiting. Highly recommended!

We came here accidentally (we thought we were going to the other branch) but we were not disappointed. 😋

Menu is reasonably simple but the food is executed to perfection. I had the grilled chicken sourdough sandwich which I cannot overstate enough, was AMAZING.

As you'd expect, the drinks were all also excellent with smoothies, coffees and juices.

Our waitress was wonderfully friendly and attentive. Everyone loved their food. Strongly recommend.

Great experience really enjoyed reading the history of Cpt.

Manager was so sweet she let me order and dine even though when I arrived they were closing.

Had the chicken bacon brie sandwich so delicious 😋 Ice coffee was divine and refreshing.
