There’s a reason this place has such high reviews. I would definitely agree with the reviews that said this was a great middle ground between the “health food” vegan places and the typical vegan burger places. I usually don’t eat vegan meats but this place beyond exceeded my expectations. The Mexican pizza was the star for us. It was not like the fake vegan cheese taste but it was done with various textures of vegan mushroom based meat and variety of vegetables and sauces that brought out a ton of flavor. We also were pretty shocked by the great textures of the wings. We were told much of the meats were made with mushrooms. The spice was perfect. We also got cake for dessert which was very rich both the lemon and the carrot cakes were awesome and served with ice cream. The server was so kind and excited to talk about the food with us. Definitely do not hesitate to come here.

Great fun food BUT what’s REALLY missing to make the unhealthy ‘meats’ palatable is healthy veg to accompany it. Without that, it’s very hard to eat! With fantastic veg alongside, people would keep coming back! Service was GREAT and meats were brilliant.

A little disappointed at the portions. Waitress recommended the sharing platter at R300ea, so we happily ordered 2 for a family of 4. After about a 45min wait, unfortunately we received this,  and the other "platter" which had 1 sauage, 1 kebab and 1 rib portion, mash and simlar chips and mushroom. Some of the items from the platters were also not available. To me, they passed of the standard R110 portions as "platters" as it was not worth R600 at all. The sides were also pretty mediocre. Flavour of the Seitan was pretty much similar to other products on the market, considering the price point, not worth it. You can get better value for money elsewhere.

By far the best vegan restaurant in Cape Town!!!
I have no idea how many times I kept going back since it was the best after trying several others. My wife even made fun of me but I had no reason to change the winning horse:)

I can’t wait to go back.

The best vegan meat I ever had. We ate at the restaurant and also took some of the vegan biltong (it had a different name I can't remember). We loved all of it. Also the  chips and salad where realy good. And the owner was really nice.
