In one word „SPECTACULAR“!!!! The view is amazing. It is such a magical and peaceful place.
Direct access to a beautiful beach, sauna and ice bath….to name just a few things we really loved.

Probably the best is the amazing staff! Always there and helpful. Realizing every wish to make the stay really unforgettable.

They have a cafe from where we ordered super yummy food all day and staff can make coffee and drinks right in the villa.

We can’t wait to come back!

Villa Lago is the place to be if you're seeking chilled vibes. We chose Lago as our destination to celebrate a joint 40th with my partner. We had friends and family join us too.

It's beautifully maintained and clean. It's close to restaurants and waters edge.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We planned multiple activities through them as well as a special BBQ that they prepared for our birthday dinner.

The island itself is what I started referring to as
"little Bali" to my toddler. It is far more relaxed and safe to wander around. You aren't hassled when touring around like "Big Bali.

We had a great time and would happily return 👌🏽😎🌞

Construction Hell at Lago Beach House
The beach house itself is absolutely beautiful—stylishly decorated, spacious, and with stunning ocean views. It’s everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway, or so we thought. Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by heavy earthworks happening next door. The noise was constant and incredibly disruptive, completely ruining the peace and tranquility we were hoping for. What’s more frustrating is that we were not warned about this construction beforehand. It’s disappointing to spend a lot of money on what should have been a serene retreat, only to be met with the sound of machinery throughout the day, every day! We booked Lago Beach house almost a year prior to our booking, to hold a special wedding renewal and a family birthday. In spite of numerous email communications up until our booking date, we were given no warning of the heavy earthworks and the construction surrounding the property, and feel the lack of transparency very disappointing and disrespectful. We did discuss this situation with the lovely Indonesian staff, who tried their best to turn our stay into a magical one-but unfortunately constant noise pollution just meant we had to be out of the villa during the day, and not relaxing by the pool! We felt deeply hurt and let down by the management. When management did respond post our stay, they apologized and agreed the noise was significant and obviously disruptive during our stay. They said they would strive to improve communication. To that I say-be upfront and honest before people stay expecting tranquil relaxation-maybe there could be a better outcome than we experienced. While the property is gorgeous, I would advise potential guests to check for any ongoing construction in the area before booking. This experience significantly affected our enjoyment, which is a real shame given how lovely the house itself is.

Impeccable villa, incredible location and the most wonderful staff. Lago Bali has it all - the only downside was having to leave this beautiful house in paradise.

Our group of family and friends and the best holiday here. We swam in the pool, ate and local restaurants and enjoyed all the activities organised through the villa staff. Everything was seamless and done so well.

The highlight was the third birthday party organised for our toddler (she still talks about the cake!) and the BBQ prepared by staff on our second last night.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

my favourite place! I’ve stayed at the Lago house for a few times now and every time I have an exceptional experience.

The location, the ocean views, the cleanliness of the rooms and the service is outstanding every time.

The main house is very private with a beautiful pool and the access to the sauna and ice bath + cafe is amazing.

Being able to check the surf from the breakfast table and order anything to the villa from the beach cafe makes the whole experience so smooth. The interior design and comfort of each room makes the place feel like home in the best way.

I always look forward to the next time on this slice of paradise!
