Based on my research, this residential area was home high-ranking officials during the Joseon Dynasty historically.

While urban development in Korea often erases historical traces, this place beautifully captures the essence of modern life while honoring its rich past.

Nearby attractions include Changdeokgung, Jongmyo, Insadong, and Cheonggyecheon.

If you're thirsty and looking for a place to grab a bite, this is the perfect spot for you.

The beer offered is craft beer, and Ikseon-dong is a great place to enjoy chicken and beer together.

I opted for the basil pesto pizza, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice, complemented by the pizza's cheezy toppings.

You have the option to order a half-and-half pizza and mix and match flavors, as well as a half-and-half option for chicken.

Foreigners visiting Korea should take advantage of the opportunity to interact with foreign students who have studied in Seoul's universities from Europe, the U.S., and South America, who work part-time here.

My first impression is that it smells like an old bowling alley in there. The server barely even looked up when we walked in to the empty bar on a Friday at 8PM. The server put a menu down on the table and backed away without a word. I should have left then, but the reviews were mostly positive so I thought to stick it out. It was a mistake. I asked some questions about the beers and pizzas and got barebones answers. Nothing truly helpful as far as recommendations. The pesto pizza came and had 1.5 cherry tomatoes on it, not sun dried as stated on the menu. I did not see much pesto on the base, there was way too much cheese, and the middle was undercooked. I ate mostly only the crust. After the first slice. The beer was fine. I wouldn't go back and I suggest you look for better places to get beer around the neighborhood.

Tiny bar serving craft korean beers and food. I have been coming here since 2017, and it hasn't disappointed me. Staff speak English. Either full of Western tourists or locals. The environment is conducive to conversation with strangers. I recommend pesto or tri- funghi pizza or chicken.

Fun little German style tap house. South Korean’s really manage their space beautifully. It is a tiny little hole in the wall. Service was brilliant. The food we saw other people eating looked yummy, but we had already eaten. We chose two unknown beers and they were both pretty good. We sat outside watching the foot and bike traffic go past. Super close to Insadong downtown, and our hotel, the Ibis. Happy to go back and recommend to others.

Food that went out looked really good, but people didn't order a lot of food.  The staff was really nice and hospitable.  Drinks were good, but they didn't have rum in stock; no Morgan, no Bacardi, no Havana Club. It's a beer place, so it's forgivable. Busy for a Monday. Yeah, Daniel, I finally walked in.
