Spent time here with my family and the staff and hotel are incredible. Great amenities and facilities. Wonderful location, right by the BTS. Walking distance to Lumphini, a 7/11, and my favorite restaurant Chefman. Reasonable pricing for all of the conveniences! We will absolutely be back! My only complaint is probably the breakfast buffet, I felt the food was really mediocre for 550 baht (I sampled a little bit of everything). Overall, great experience!

Recently, I went on a trip to Bangkok with my friend and stayed at this Grande Centre Point Hotel. I had originally expected a comfortable five-star hotel experience, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.

We booked a twin room for three consecutive nights a week in advance. We arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok at noon on Thursday and reached the hotel on time at 2 pm to check in. When we specifically asked the front desk for a quiet room, we were told that there was only one room left on the 35th floor and one on the 10th floor. Considering that the higher floor would have a better view and be quieter, we chose the room on the 35th floor. It was only then that the front desk said the room was still being cleaned and we would need to wait for about an hour. We asked where we could wait, and the front desk said we could rest in the lobby or the pool area. So, after about half an hour, the front desk contacted us and said we could check in.

However, when we arrived at the room and opened the door, we were greeted by a pungent smell of paint. The room was also the last one at the end of the corridor. We immediately called the front desk to explain the situation and suggested that someone be sent to check if the smell was normal. But after waiting for about ten minutes, no one came. Then the front desk called us three more times, just asking what the problem was and saying that they were arranging for someone to come and check, but in the end, no one came to inspect the room or offered any solution.

Meanwhile, after checking other open rooms on the 35th floor, we found that many of them also had a pungent smell. There were also carts loaded with paint buckets and maintenance tools in the corridor, and workers were replacing the grilles of the air conditioning vents. That's when we realized that the floor was under construction. We firmly demanded a room change. After more than half an hour of communication and waiting, it was already past 4 pm when we were finally moved to a room on the 23rd floor, which was also the last room at the end of the corridor. The view outside the window directly faced a building under construction, and no staff member helped us with our luggage during the whole process. Our itinerary for that afternoon was completely disrupted.

That night, we sent an email to the hotel group to file a complaint. The next day, we received a reply from the hotel manager. Besides an apology, the only compensation offered was a late check-out until 3 pm. Also, it seemed as if we were under special surveillance. As soon as we entered the room, we received a call from the front desk saying that we could change the room again and they would provide a free airport transfer service. However, the hotel didn't explain the reason for the pungent smell on the 35th floor or its subsequent arrangements at all.

This stay was really disappointing and didn't meet the service standards that a five-star hotel should have at all. I hope my experience can serve as a reminder to other consumers, so that they won't spend money and still be treated unfairly.

Love the stay here, it was my second time here, very comfortable, clean, and good service. Room was spacious too! Price is very reasonable compared to the hotels nearby. And very easy access to Gaysorn mall and central world mall. And please visit their facilities too, they have big playroom for kids, gameroom for adults, gym room, reading room, and etc. The only disappointment was their water heater, took time to heat up and not consistent with the temperature. And when we first check in our room, there was water leaking on the ceiling, but luckily they managed to change our room.

I stayed on and off for about seven nights here. The overall experience was satisfactory, especially considering the reasonable price for the facilities and amenities provided.

However, there were several notable issues. On our first arrival, despite booking a twin-bed room, we were assigned a king bed. When we requested a change, the staff simply split the bed which felt like a lack of attention to booking details.

We also strongly requested a non-smoking room, but the room we were given had a persistent cigarette smell. After checking out and inquiring about it, I was informed by the receptionist that the floor had previously been a smoking floor. When we returned from a short trip and asked for a room on a different floor, the new room still had a lingering cigarette odor, likely due to a previous guest. While housekeeping tried to resolve the issue with an ozone machine, it didn’t fully eliminate the smell.

Additionally, the cleanliness left much to be desired. There was visible dust in the room, making it feel unkempt and unhygienic, which was very disappointing.

Overall, while the hotel offers a good location and reasonable pricing, the issues with booking accuracy, lingering odors, and cleanliness significantly detract from the experience. Management needs to enforce non-smoking policies more strictly and focus on improving room maintenance to enhance guest satisfaction.

First and foremost, the hotel is amazing. It’s such a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by a coffee machine at the entrance offering delicious coffee for free after a long journey. The check-in process is smooth and efficient.

The facilities are luxurious: a hot jacuzzi, a warm Finnish sauna, and an incredible hammam. The game room is stunning as well. I’ve been to Thailand 8 times, each visit lasting a month, staying in hotels all over the country. I can confidently say that this hotel is in my top 5. Thank you so much for the excellent service, the indulgent amenities, and the wonderful hospitality.

The only thing that's a bit disappointing is that there's a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. (35th floor) Other than that, everything is perfect.

By the way, the spa is fantastic as well—my wife thoroughly enjoyed it!
If I return to Bangkok, this will undoubtedly be the hotel I come back to.
