Still a favorite cafe in Paris. I try to come at least one a month. (travel plans are the only limitation) The starters to share are great for a group to eat. Enjoy!

Stop in Paris and very popular with the locals.

The waiter offered an English menu when we scanned the QR code as our google translate wasn't working so well. Friendly staff and a good selection of local French cuisine. 

I had the duck breast which was a little raw for my liking and my husband had the fish of the day which was very good. 

We also had wine and beer and dessert of
course. Loved that this spot is not touristy and open late.

Small, local restaurant in a nice neighborhood. A classic French bistro menu that the server is happy to translate and describe any dish. Don't miss asking about the specials. The food is simple but fresh and fantastic. We enjoyed several dishes that were served hot and fresh - from steak to fish to pasta. You will leave with a smile and happy belly as both the food and service are great.

In Paris for a few days and discovered this lovely restaurant. The host, Constantine, was outstanding and provided excellent service. The food was simply amazing! Our apps included a charcuterie board with a great selection; crab and avocado tartare, which was very flavorful and beautifully presented; and delicious serving of escargot. For entrees we had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and a rigatoni dish with a mushroom cream sauce that was fantastic. Additionally, throughout the meal, we enjoyed a very nice sauvignon blanc. Dessert did not disappoint either! Chocolate fondant, cheesecake and Baba au Ruhm to share! All were delicious! We ended the night with various digestifs. 
The restaurant itself was cozy and had a very relaxed atmosphere and the locals that we talked to there had nothing but great things to say about the restaurant. If you are looking for a local Parisian restaurant with great service and authentic French cuisine, you need to visit Paris XVII!

Extremely friendly host and excellent service. We had Kir appertif drinks to start off - very good traditional French drink. The fois gras and bread appetizer was excellent. The duck breast with green peppercorn sauce was very tasty and its mashed celery side was surprisingly delicious. The steak dish was pretty good although the ribeye steak was thin and somewhat fatty. This is typical of French steak though. I try to avoid the steak in France as it is nowhere good as steak in the U.S.  we also had the fondant chocolate and crème brûlée for dessert - both were delicious. All in all a pretty good option if staying at the Meriden Etoile or Hyatt Regency.

Great restaurant, we stayed in the area for a few days and wanted something local. Probably one of the best places in the area, with an amazing staff, varied menu with options for all tastes, and quick service. Use their website to book a table or give them a call! they're super nice and will make sure to accommodate. This is not as expensive as Yelp may advertise it ($$$ on the restaurant description), it is however great food, at an affordable budget. Great value for your $.
I had a steak tartare which came with a house made Gratin Dauphinois to die for. Definitely recommend picking a dish with a gratin side. My friend had a foie de veau which was ok, and mashed potatoes which were good (but nothing compared to the Gratin). 
The food was really great, the wine as well (although pretty pricy if you have it by the glass compared to the bottle). 
The design/decoration is simple yet very nice and fun, and there arent too many tables which gives you a true privacy. 
One thing I recommend is to get more fans for the summer heat as it got pretty warm which isn't the greatest feeling when having a meal.

Fantastic spot! Despite our poor attempts to use Google Translate on the beautiful chalk board menu, the owner came to help us with choosing our meal with good humor, patience and kindness. He generously let us explore the wine offerings to make sure we found the right pairing with our dishes and helped us along with great suggestions and interpretations. 

The rhum cake is a must try and will change your expectations for future rhum cakes to come! 

We enjoyed the sauteed leeks, green beans and mushroom salad, sardines with toast and duck confit. All were delightful. The sauteed leeks were soft, warm, covered in a savory vinaigrette. The green beans and mushrooms were crunchy, fresh, covered with some light olive oil and Parmesan and really prepared the palette for the main course. The sardines were a great choice and I recommend going with the spicy version. Great flavor, fun to eat, and the crunchy bread is awesome. Finally the duck confit with potatoes was full of flavor capturing both the crunchy and the soft portion of the duck with a savory potato gratin side. 

Definitely worth the visit if you happen in the area.

A lovely little place in a quiet part of the neighborhood. The proprietor was warm and helpful. The food was adequate with tasty sauces and quality ingredients. I ordered my rumsteak "à point" (wanting medium rare), and it came overcooked. But that might have been my bad French! The sauce was delicious though. Potatoes au gratin and foie gras were both delicious. (You can see I was eating light!) My dining companion's rigatoni in cream sauce with morilles was bland to my taste.

Small, cozy place with a hole in the wall feel. Small but quality menu.  I had the best beef tartare.

This is a great bistro Lyonnais near Porte Maillot run by 2 young guys who took over the joint a year ago. There is virtually nothing around Porte Maillot that is good, food-wise - except this - an exceptional quality of market produce with Lyonais specialities and the freshest ingredients. The decor is splendid, just as good as le Bistrot Paul Bert, and the service from the young owners is really friendly and modern. Populated by the communcations and marketing teams that inhabit the building in front, this is definitely the (only) place to be in this part of the 17th, especially if you are staying in the local hotels, or have a work meeting in the area.
