I took my friend to Bistrot Alexandre III for cocktails after a walk along the Seine. It's the perfect spot for happy hour, offering views of the river and the Eiffel Tower. She raved about her mojito, and I thoroughly enjoyed my spritz. The service was excellent, and they opened earlier than other nearby bars (5 PM), which was a nice bonus.

This restaurant is on a parked boat! It's on the Seine River right by the most beautiful bridge in Paris, the Pont Alexandre III, so you can enjoy a perfect view while you dine. 

The people working here are amazing and kind. We had some questions about rescheduling a sightseeing tour that we'd booked but missed, and the staff went above and beyond in helping us by calling the tour company and translating for us. I was so touched by that. 

We had drinks here at night while sitting inside and looked at the stunning bridge all lit up. 

We liked this restaurant so much that the next day we came back again for coffee and iced tea and relaxed on the outside deck while watching the bridge during the day. 

It's a peaceful place and we liked that we could linger as long as we wanted without being rushed to finish up.

This is a lovely bistro right on the Seine that has a great charcuterie board, amazing bread, and a very delicious Bordeaux. Really can't beat the views. The service is great as well. Feels slightly touristy but that might just be because they speak English and I understand what is happening. I thought the cheese was ok but not great (but it's not like I know a lot about cheese)

View is nice and that's about all, servers seem to be an Asian family which is not a problem except they are all very rude and have zero customer service.  They are not inviting and down right rude.  We sat down at the tables and when nobody came to ask us our order.  We went inside to ask how we can order some food.  The server basically threw a menus our way then talked the other direction telling us how to order.   We finally had to go back inside to order although he told us a server would come out as they were all hanging out behind the bar too lazy to take any orders.  When we did order and checked on it they "forgot" to print the ticket? So we waited another 15min until they actually started the order.  There are many places to eat and enjoy the view of the river I would suggest avoiding this one.  Unless you want to use the patio bar and keep walking don't bother.  I should have read the other reviews before trying this place.  My mistake

We had lunch here in Bastille Day. It is a wonderful spot to take in the activity room n the River Siene. I am sure this is not the normal operation but we had to order and pay at one counter, pick up drinks at the bar, and then pick up our food by the cash register. The employees where very nice despite being very busy on a beautiful holiday.

Just walking by the river and found this nice place. They helped us pick out a couple desserts and made us Coffee Americano. 

Sandra spoke English to use and treated us well.

The Phantom loves Paris and has to place it as number one as the worlds most beautiful city (a bold statement but it's true). For Paris, it's more than just the history, gorgeous architecture, culinary delights and well-thought out, elegant design that contours to the gentle landscape; there is an indescribable feeling that one gets when there, it's love. 

I apparitioned there this spring for some special time with my phantom girlfriend, our third time visiting Paris together. We of course took long walks along the Seine River, especially at sunset, to take in the panoramic views of the city and soak in the ambiance. The Pont Alexandre III bridge is one of our favorite places to do this and we spend as much time there as we can.

We noticed quite a few new restaurants along the water while we were watching the cityscape and boats passing beneath us and decided to have a look. The Bistrot Alexandre III seemed like an obvious choice given it's docked position on the Seine that is so close to the Pont Alexandre III bridge. We walked in without hesitation and decided to sit outside on the fantail for the sweeping, panoramic setting. 

Wow, what a view! The only way to get a view like that is from a boat that is passing underneath the bridge, and that is fleeting. We must have said, "how beautiful" a million times. Dessert was what we were after and we both shared a caramel crepe with two espressos. They were both delicious and rivaled any delicious crepe that I've ever had, my phantom girlfriend was definitely happy.

What's more about the Bistrot is how classy and comfortable the design is and how extremely friendly the staff is. The owner, Daniel and host Billy struck up a conversation with us and couldn't have been friendlier or more personable. We chatted and laughed for quite some time and on our way out, Daniel told us to consider The Bistrot Alexandre III our home, how many establishments do that? The next time I am in Paris I will gladly stop in for dinner or dessert. When you visit, tell them that The Phantom from San Francisco/Le Phantôme de San Francisco sent you and I'm sure they will do the same for you.

The waiters are friendly, the food comes fast, and the sweet white wine hits the spot. Would definitely recommend

Ordered red wine for my wife, beer for myself, and a hamburger well done (I know, Paris - not a Parisienne choice).  The drinks took more than 30 min.  The food 45 min.  The red wine was ice cold (colder than the beer).  The beer tepid.  The hamburger was all but raw.  When we mentioned that the hamburger was raw and the red wine cold we were informed that "that is the way it is done in France."  We did not touch the food (e.coli) however was still expected to pay.  The only variance from the stereotypical movie rude Frenchman is that he did not have a thin mustache.  The perfect memory of a bad experience.  Strongly recommend avoiding at all costs unless you are a masochist and wish to play e.coli roulette.

Best music on the water! Lots of other places but if you are a normal person from this is the spot. No kids and if you like to dance to beats. Drinks aren't over priced like next door!
