I don't get the 5 stars reviews on this place??? I must be spoiled since I live in Torrance/Gardena CA area where it's predominantly Asian community and Japanese Restaurants are everywhere! And I love Japanese food  -basically tried all the good and some bad restaurants in my area and Im sorry to say that this place is really bad, the Sushi/Sashimi taste like the one you get at a grocery store or 7-11. The "Yakitori" chicken is fried??? Yakitori in Japanese means Yaki(grilled) Tori(chicken) and should be using Binchotan charcoal, that said the chicken taste horrible and floating in grease. Place is clean and ambience is good, nice friendly servers ...but the food!

Quick, quiet, clean, fresh, flavorful. 

Very modest pricing for the portions. Ordered some rolls and some nigiri- all were delicious and soooo fresh. 

We were very pleased with this being just around the corner from Le Cinq Codet.

We love this place. We stumbled upon it because we are staying at Le Cinqe Codet about 50 steps from our hotel and was walking around to find a place to eat. 

It was about 9:55 and they closed at 10 and still seated us. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. I usually only write reviews if I really absolutely loved the place. This is definitely one of them. 

Very kind staff. The place was VERY CLEAN and the food came fast. We both ordered the 4 item special for something like €15.80 each. My food came with soup, salad, bowl of rice AND

1) 3 pieces salmon sashimi
2) 3 pieces tuna sashimi
3) 3 pieces salmon nigiri 
4) 6 salmon/cream cheese/avocado roll 

The fish is SUPER fresh. If you are looking for a 5 star sushi place you can't pass this up.

We are going back tonight because we leave tomorrow and have to eat there one more time.

This place is amazing! We went on a Monday around 7pm and it wasn't busy at all. They had a special where you pick 10 items from a specific menu and its about 41€. They bring out miso soup and a cabbage salad with what  tastes like a wasabi dressing that's really good! I ordered salmon & tuna sashimi and it was surprisingly fresh! I also had a salmon roll with tuna inside and a salmon tartar with vinegar, white rice and avocado, which was also amazing. My partner ordered a tempura shrimp, along with an onion California roll and a seared salmon roll and everything was spectacular. For 10 items, 2 beers and a small sake, we paid 69€. The staff speaks little English but we were able to get by. Definitely a great place!

Un des meilleurs restaurant japonais qu'on peut trouver dans le quartier! (Ceci venant d'un Québécois) La nourriture est fait avec une très grande expertise (absolument délicieuse)! Les serveurs sont très gentils! Pour la qualité qu'on reçoit le prix est imbattable! 5/5!

We picked this place for dinner because our hotel was nearby and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was. We ordered four separate rolls and they were all very good and the fish tasted very fresh. There was only one lady working all the tables on this slow night, but she did a good job of occasionally checking in with us. There are two rooms...the main dining area where you walk in and another room in the back which is where we sat and it was more quiet in the back.

It's THE best Japanese food restaurant in the area. 
The sashimi is super fresh! 
The food deco is really artsy!
And the owners and waiters are really friendly. 

Needless to say that it's clean and neat place.

I love this place, the food and service is the best!!! Everything is so fresh. You have to order their sashimi, they even have 烤串&mochi. Yummy~Wish i could visit it again soon.

This place rocks! Worth the trip and very fresh.  5 stars!   The restaurant is clean, does not smell bad or like fish. Wait staff is friendly and the location still close enough to all the tourist activities. Best value and quality sushi in Paris.
