This is a cute Italian bistro in the heart of Paris. Great location; great food; horrible service! 
However, I had the freshest calamari in Paris that afternoon with extra lemon juice but no marinara for dipping. I guess something was lost in translation! 
My friends ordered a salad and a thin crust, brick oven pizza. I ordered a pizza too with extra ingredients. After finishing my calamari, the server asked if we wanted anything else. I said yes, my pizza! He brought it 20 minutes later ( no sense of urgency in Paris ) but he forgot the extra ingredients! So he took it back & we waited. By the way.... we were also out of beverages......the prices were $4  for a beer & about $10  for a pizza.

After dining at the Sergio and seeing they haven't a single review I can only assume it is a conspiracy.  A well laid plan the restaurants regulars hatched to keep this wonderful dining experience a secret.

As you approach this small cafe the valet welcomes you with a broad smile and alerts the impeccably dressed host who moves continuously but never has a hair out of place or perspires in the least.  My companions and I started with the Fritto Misto, perfectly prepared tender calamari and whole shrimps tossed in lemon and herbs.  Dinner consisted of sauteed fish fillets on a bed of tapenade, penne pasta in a light but perfectly seasoned cream sauce with slices of chorizo and my favorite, the raviolli stuffed with seasonal mushrooms in a decadent heavy cream that was perfect for dipping the endless slices of fresh baguette, 

For the life of me, I can not remember what I had for dessert due to the amount of red wine I drank. But I trust it too was lovingly made and fantastic because we strolled afterwards for an hour in sheer bliss.

Ur server, Andrea Abruzzo was a true professional in all the senses... A true art lost in most people except the most discerning... He was a great server- it would be I your interest to ask for him because he will make the difference in your experience.

The food was incredible... Fresh and true to the Italian tradition...  

Plus if you are looking for a romantic place to get your grove on... This is it... Quite and intimate!

So after 3 days in Paris... This remains our best meal by far!!!!! Nothing has even been close which is shocking considering we are in Paris and cooking should be there thing.  However we have encountered what can only be explained as cooking and food for the ignorant.... It just hasn't been that good yet.

Delicious food, great staff, and friendly atmosphere. 

I came into this Italian restaurant at 3:30 PM starving getting off of plane from Milan, and they really delivered. 

Every other restaurant in the area was closed but this one was open. Looked decent and proved to be amazing! 

Started off with vegetables and then had the linguine ai pomodori freschi di collina e basilico for my late afternoon lunch. Very simple but very delicious. Decent pricing and GOOD ingredients. I can tell everything is very fresh and nothing is processed. Seems very family-owned and I would definitely go back. 

Five stars because I never judge a book by its cover. This restaurant ROCKS and they were so personable. These people don't mess around with their Italian food. It is just as good as the food in Italy!

Absolutely delicious meal, wonderful management and perfect staff. As lost and confused American in Paris for the first time, this little restaurant was a complete godsend. From the moment my partner and I walked into the doorway, we immediately felt welcomed! We were greeted with a loud and boisterous Bonjour and Hello from one of the managers, and was offered one of the beautiful outdoor seating options. Each item we ordered was beyond delicious, prepared impeccably and delectable to the last bite. I highly recommend the Linguine with clams, as it was my favorite meal of my entire trip. We STILL talk about this meal to this day, and plan on returning when I make my return to visit to France next year!

YUUUUUM!!! The bruschetta was very good but the mushroom ravioli with truffle cream sauce was AMAZING. Had dinner here on the recommendation of a colleague and I was not disappointed. Food was great, service was great, nice lively atmosphere. Add La Casa di Sergio to you list!

If you go on a weekend it is like being in a fire drill. Its loud, things are moving quickly and you have no idea whats going on but pretty sure something is all the time. On the weekends IT IS A ZOO till past midnight and expect to have a line, the waiters are stressed but doing good and everything will take a long time, getting seated, getting your drinks, your food, the bill. But if youre on holiday, want to take in the culture and are ok to chill do come on in. Or, come super early, after 9pm its in full swing.

I went alone. Like Johnny D I got the same response but after I swung a smile and said I was sorry for blocking the one pathway for all the waiters in the place, and said no worries they actually found me a spot ahead of everyone else in line in under 5 minutes. The French need a little love before they loosen up, esp if you are an American (which I am not).

That did not mean I wasnt waiting for everything, which I was. But you know what, everyone was waiting, thats just the way it is. The couple next to me had the waiter passing my food over them, at one point he asked them to hand me my spoon. I apologized for him especially when all my finished dishes also went cross their faces. Thats just how it is.

The food was good. I really enjoyed my pasta and wish I had ordered pasta. I had a side of spicy pasta (i asked them to make me something spicy so it has no name other than good) and grilled tuna. My tuna was OK, not bad but my pasta was so much better it kind of took away from it, should have had potatoes with the fish. The tiramisu was authentic and far too big for one me. Half is sitting in my hotel fridge at the moment.

I am sure on a early week night you will get the lovely service and ambience without being elbow to elbow with ladies on either side blowing smoke in your face. 

I was fine with it, you probably will not be if you are coming from North America. Remember, you are NOT in North America. Dont get mad expecting France to be the USA, because they are not and dont want to be.

This restaurant was very welcoming and very friendly. We did not have a reservation, but they sat us immediately with no issue. The service was very friendly and very attentive. They were very helpful with suggestions from the menu and the pasta was very delicious. 

Over all the experience was very successful and is deserving of 5 stars.

Visited this evening, immediately felt welcomed.  Tried to go to Ricci's earlier but turned away due to not having a reservation.  We walked in and asked if we had a reservation (I thought not again.  But they said "that is ok, hold on" then they seated us.  Service was very friendly and prompt.  The food was great and actually felt like the service was sincere and they appreciated our business.  But even if that was not the case the food was fabulous!

Fine meal but probably wouldn't return. Ordered spaghetti with clams and friend ordered eggplant stuffed rigatoni. Our issues were that a) although tasty, the rigatoni was not actually stuffed with eggplant. There was eggplant tossed in the dish but that's it. b) Waiters were smoking while working just outside the restaurant where we were sitting.
