Nice for a quick, simple breakfast, although the menu is very small. Kind servers and good coffee and tea. Child-friendly, too, which was great.

Nice little corner bistro not far from Gate du Nord. I ordered the complete breakfast and the waiter was very prompt & efficient. The upstairs appears to have a bar & lounge for late nite.  Will return when I'm back in Paris.

We arrived in Paris and decided to stop off at this cafe on the way to our vacation rental apartment. It was quite empty, but the windows were wide open and the place was inviting. 

We sat at a larger table in the back, where there was room for all our luggage. We were thirsty, hungry and needed to gather ourselves for a minute. Our group ordered ice cold beer, orangina, cokes and a mojito to drink. 

To eat, I ordered the burrata plate. It was an appetizer, but I love cheese and made it my meal. It was so good, I ended up craving burrata wherever I went in Paris. My mom ordered a poke salad bowl, my aunt and cousin ordered the chicken katsu, my sister had the tuna and avocado carpaccio salad and my nephew ordered the croque monsieur. 

Everyone loved what the ordered and cheered us all up for the long walk to the apartment. This place was a great find with a variety that suits everyone's taste. As you can see we all wanted something a little different.

On our honeymoon, my husband and I stopped in for a quick bite after discovering that the place we'd selected for lunch was unexpectedly closed. I was a little nervous walking through a seemingly sketchy neighborhood, and was relieved to find this place, which looked like a relative safe haven! We sat down on the outdoor patio and ordered ourselves some lunch :)

My hubby chose a salad with blue cheese, cantal cheese, parmesan, crunchy ham, mini croutons, tomatoes, and creamy dressing, while I ordered a tandoori chicken bagel sandwich with frittes. The salad was a bit rich for what we were hoping to be a light midday meal (the dressing was rather heavy) but it wasn't bad at all. And I had ordered the tandoori chicken bagel for variety, though I wasn't necessarily expecting the most authentic of flavors from a bar/restaurant. It was surprisingly tasty, though, and definitely a change of pace from the French food I'd been eating all week! The fries were thick and potato-ey (my favorite kind) and came with some yummy dipping sauces.

Definitely a good lunch spot if you're in the area. My hubby and I are big fans of the outdoor cafe scene, so we enjoyed our time here!

Best food we've had in Paris. Waiter only spoke a tiny bit of English, and our tiny bit of French along with google translate got us a great meal!

Despite it's located in a sketchy neighborhood, the place is nice and offers variety of options for lunch. We had sirloin and duck pie. Very tasty both of them. The staff does not speak so much English but enough to make you understand. There is wifi available, a plus! Outdoors seating with warmers, despite we stayed inside as the weather was not sunny. One course, water and tea for both, around 42 Euros.
