Very solid dining experience. Having said that, the steak was good but not superb. For the price, I have had better steak. But..the food was good. The appetizer, sides and dessert were all top notch. The service was great. And it's a comfortable place to have dinner. The price it just a little much for what you get.

I visited Clover Grill today, a place I once considered one of my favorite steak spots in Paris. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.

To start, they served the baguette without butter—in Paris of all places—which felt very unusual. I ordered a filet mignon cooked medium well, but it arrived dry and tough, as did the steaks for my wife and son. The steak knives were almost useless, struggling to slice through the meat. I recommend the restaurant seriously reconsider their knife quality.

On a positive note, the mashed potatoes were excellent. However, the biggest shock was the dessert: I ordered a chocolate moelleux with ice cream, only to find it priced at an eye-watering 38 euros!

The final bill came to 397 euros, and frankly, for that price, I expected far better quality and service. Mr. Piège, if you’re charging this much, every detail—be it the food, service, or dining tools—needs to reflect care and honesty.

Visited for dinner and sat at the bar, it was very busy. I enjoyed my burger and frites. The meat was tasty and overall had a great texture. I would say it didn’t have a ton of flavor since it’s basically meat and cheese but it was very good nonetheless.

I didn’t catch his name but my server was fantastic and his first night was tonight. Merci beaucoup to this gentleman for taking care of me on a busy night!

Having read multiple reviews of this place i had high expectations for this restaurant. When we first came in everything went great and the service was helpfull and we felt like we were noticed properly. But after the place got more customers everything changed.

The room where we sat got really really loud and i have to say they were short staffed. Overall the food was good. Chefs were great and their open kitchen and the steak cabinets look great. They made the beef just to the temperature i asked and startes and sides worked aswell. I have mixed feelings because at the beginning everything was spot on but then it kind of fell apart.

So in short if you want nice steak/beef this is propably place for you if you can tolerate bit of waiting and dont mind kind of high prices.

Look I am going to be honest here, I never rate a restaurant based on price quality ratio and usually try to objectively assess the food. But when you are paying 300 EUR for a kg of meat, oh boy I am setting my expectations way too high. Annnnnnnd it was disappointing. The meat was good but I cook it better at home. Pooy seasoned and both the simmental and the cricketton lacked the oumph of dry aging. They were not bad just good pieces of meat for which I payed five times the price I would have paid to cook them better at home. The place is super nice though and the service was friendly although some of the sides arrived 30 mins late it was an honest mistake. Weirdly enough the cheese I took as a dessert was the highlight of the night! Unexpected :D

To be honest, I would not recommend the restaurant based on its price to quality ratio. You can find better meat elsewhere.
