First time in Paris ,  perfect hotel for our visit. Staff was very attentive. Our room was spacious and clean. Location was great. We were able to walk to many of the major attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants, patisseries and shops surrounding the area.   Very  close to Metro entrances for those that would like to use public transportation.  Would definitely recommend this hotel for those that want to stay in the Latin Quarter of Paris.

I stayed at Hôtel La Lanterne & Spa in Paris for six nights (February 16–21). Overall, I found it fairly expensive for what was provided.

Room & Comfort

The room layout was awkwardly designed, making it difficult to move around. The bed took up so much space that we couldn’t fully open the cupboards or mini fridge. While the fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel had a modern feel, the quality of the bed itself was good but not exceptional.

The shower was disappointing. For the first few nights, it wouldn’t stay in a fixed position. Despite reporting the issue twice, it took days to get resolved. Even after the fix, the water pressure was quite weak.

Housekeeping did a great job with regular cleaning, and lovely presentation of the room.

Breakfast

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, considering the price. While there was a good selection of options, the hot food was often cold, and did not taste especially fresh.

The hot drink service at breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and professional.

Spa & Gym

The spa and swimming pool were great, but the pool was much smaller than expected. It had three water jets, but one wasn’t functioning properly. If another guest was using the pool at the same time, it became quite cramped. The steam room was good, but required constant activation, shutting off every five minutes, which was a bit frustrating. It was disappointing that there was no sauna, as there seemed to be space for one.

The gym could have been better equipped, as it only had a few dumbbells and a basic exercise bike. A workout bench and even a simple cage setup would have made a big difference, especially given the available space.

Service & Atmosphere

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and generally very responsive to our questions and requests.

Overall

For the price, the experience didn’t meet our expectations. While the hotel had a modern aesthetic and some good features (like the spa), the disappointing breakfast, cramped room layout, weak shower, and lackluster gym made it feel overpriced. I would unlikely stay here again at the current rates.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night a few weeks ago. The room was pretty tight but perfectly adequate and was pretty decent and modern.

The bed was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was just right for us, we don't eat huge amounts but found it fresh and delicious. I wasn't overly impressed with the restaurant service tbh- but put it down to the lady probably having a bad day.
I also really like the location as it is near the good restaurants but quiet at night helping us have a good nights rest.

Overall -we enjoyed it and I am staying there again this month.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The room was well presented, well kept. The hotel facilities were well preserved, clean and looked well maintained. There was a lack of USB, well no USB charging points in our superior room. This did make keeping our phones and electronic devices a logistical challenge. Anyone thinking of staying, don’t let this put you off, be sure to come prepared. Great transport connections. Great location.

I take this opportunity to thank the staff for making our stay a very enjoyable experience.

Had a lovely stay for a week in a deluxe room. Large windows that opened onto the street were lovely. I have a real dislike of hotel rooms with windows that don't open.  The staff were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem.  Breakfast was good with a small hot selection. Although there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room I really appreciated the tea/coffee/water and hot chocolate that was freely available all day in the breakfast area. It was a lovely touch. The spa area was beautiful and relaxing. The location  was good for us only a couple of minutes walk from the metro and Notre Dame. Lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. I'd happily stay again.
