It was great food, but over priced. Service could have been better too. We went a la carte with 5 people, knowing full well that is is more expensive then having one of the set menus. I'm to blame for that, I'm a very particular eater 🤣. The house offered an excellent starter (green pea gazpacho with a twist, very nice!), Most of us had the Artichauts, houmous d’aubergine, paprika fumé for starter. At this time the wine we had ordered and was opened by the sommelier wasn't served yet!!! Good, surprising tastes, especially the Arabian styled spices. It's a pity the spices were so present they blocked out the other flavours too much. I went for the Côte de bœuf Limousin, grenailles de Ré, croque Parmesan for main course. I personally think the chef could have done more with this. I know it's a simple dish but it could have been finer sliced, accompanied by some vegetables if only for colour, better presented. The fish dishes Lieu jaune de ligne, shiitaké, haricot beurre, citronnelle and Maigre de ligne, jeunes courgettes, jus d’une cotriade were excellent and we'll presented.desserts were good, I had the Pêche brûlée, crème à l’amande, streusel romarin. Although nicely dressed, again I would have appreciated a wider range of flavours in this dish. The chef did not visit the table at any time which was a pity. I had made this reservation for the 50 the birthday of a friend and had requested "something" special for the occasion. They had planted a single candle in the dessert and couldn't keep it lit. I assume celebrations are common in these kind of restaurants, so it might be a good idea to invest in some (cold) fire works or such 😉 we paid 750 euros for a 3 course a la carte meal with 5 people accompanied by a bottle of red Bordeaux (st-emillion grand cru).

Great experience! Nice ambience, staff is very polite and efficient. We enjoyed a nice tasting menu with wine pairing and it was all perfect. Extra thanks also for the small gift to my wife due to her 50th birthday celebration :)

One of the best gastronomic experience in La Rochelle. Nice atmosphere. Good service with a wine specialist. Not too expensive for a future starred restaurant.
Too bad the restaurant is difficult to find in a tiny street of city center.

This was our special meal out on holiday. The service was good. The food was just ok however - a bit unsophisticated in terms of flavours. They are expensive though and for the price I expected more from the food.

They wouldn’t let my child (3yo) go to the bathroom. Terrible. Waiter came running up on me with a face like: ‘what are you
doing here’, before she threw us out.
