Great food and cute little place but a little too quiet for our liking. We went on a Friday evening and were the only ones in there the whole time. The lady was very attentive and her husband was a great chef. Best duck breast we've ever had... albeit not your classic German cuisine.
The wine was really quite cheap, we had a bottle of white for 16€ I think.
Whole meal came to less than 100€ with the tip and we had starter, mains and wine (no desert).
The home made bread and dip was lovely to start, as was the spring roll starter and the mains. Would just be nice if there were a couple more people in there, but maybe we just went on an unusually quiet day.

We had a wonderful meal of true authentic German Cuisine. I had the traditional sausages with kale and potatoes and my husband had deer stew. Both were very delicious and tasted like they were made with love. The server/ hostess of the restaurant was extremely pleasant and friendly as well. They offered a menu in both German and English so it was very easy to navigate. Atmosphere is quaint and feels like a home or a cozy Bistro. You must try them!!

3 American couples.  Found this place on-line, and it had great reviews.  We made reservations prior to leaving USA and were so glad we did.   They contacted me numerous times to confirm the reservation … it is small and family owned … understandable.   It deserves all the accolades given.  Quaint, cute, handwritten daily menu … everything was fresh and amazing.  Given the quality and quantity of food …. it was reasonably priced.  Owners are so friendly (woman speaks English and husband … chef… came out to greet us).   Cash only.  My favorite restaurant in all of Europe during our 24 day trip.  Highly recommend.

Me and my wife booked for dinner on a Friday night during our visit to Berlin, having seen the restaurant on Trip Advisor and we were very impressed.  The service was friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic, we had the Beet Salad and Spring Rolls to start, followed by the Duck Breast and Duck Leg.

I would definitely recommend eating here if you are ever in Berlin, you won't be disappointed!

We had a great experience dining here! The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful and pleasant. We had the duck as our main and it was perfect. Highly recommend this little husband and wife run restaurant for a great dinner in Berlin!
