We loved the homey feel of this place and their food, while simple, was simply to die for. From the delicate tortellini in broth, the wonderful aubergine polpette, tripe cooked to perfection and pork scallopine, to their desserts, everything was perfection!!! Service and attention to detail was top notch.

The little brother of the Michelin starred restaurant down the street can totally hold his own. The pasta is made right in front of you as you walk in the door. Absolutely fantastic meal from start to finish. Great wine list with Lambrusco from every region, and very nice people, both staff and customers. Prices were quite fair for this kind of quality. Highly recommended.

We arrived just as lunch was about to finish and they luckily let us sit and enjoy lunch with the restaurant to ourselves.

The pasta dishes were traditional and some of the best pasta of our trip so far. Not the easiest place to get to but worth the effort!

A must when in Modena. Simple dishes that shine. The service made you feel right at home and welcome, I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone venturing in the area.

Took the trouble to book for a Tuesday lunchtime but didn’t need to. Trattoria for 1 Michelin star restaurant situated a few metres away. The plate of ham was huge as were the corn bread with ricotta and aubergine starters. Pasta al dente as usual. Don’t worry about what you order the staff bring you what they want! 2 of the dishes and the wine was wrong. Staff pleasant but bring google translate as they speak little English. Cheap enough.
